Services
Over the past 100 years we have grown from a simple boarding house into a 64 room, 40 acre family resort. Located on a quiet country lane in Greene County, our property includes a lake, pond, Olympic sized swimming pool, playground areas and more. Leave the cooking and cleaning behind when you join us for special vacation with your family.
Our Pool Motel is a 2 story, 12 unit building with all rooms opening onto a common patio overlooking our Olympic sized swimming pool. The Pool Motel is centrally located on our property. It is adjacent to our tennis court and very near the rear entrance to our dining room. Meander down the hill and cross the street to visit the Rec Hall.
Our West Motel is an 8 room single story building, with all units opening onto a common patio. The West Motel is located in the northern half of our property, above the pool area. You are near our pool lawn, where we hold our weekly cocktail party. Watch the kids play on our playground pirate ship while sitting on your patio.
Our Standard accommodations group includes the North Motel, North Annex, South Annex, Yanke Hall, and our Main House. The heart of our property is our 1840's farmhouse, which offers 7 second floor rooms. Walk down the stairs every morning onto the front porch. Take a seat and rock away the day with a good book and a cup of coffee.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday are Egg Days. Special order eggs any way you like them, including fried, over light, soft/hard boiled, sunny side up, scrambled, omelets, and egg sandwich on a hard roll. Choose from bacon or sausage and home fries. Once a week enjoy our house made corned beef hash.

We have a family summer home in Durham NY. Over Memorial Day weekend, with 11 guests staying at the house, we had a problem with our septic tank! We needed to have it fixed or otherwise would've had to tell everyone to go home :(
We searched for a septic company on the internet - we spoke with many companies that told us that they could not help us until after the holiday weekend was over. I finally reached Baumanns septic company - and told my story to the owner on the phone! She was very compassionate to our situation and sent 2 gentleman over to pump out the septic and fix the situation
