Built in the 1940's as an operating hotel, our historic property underwent a major renovation in 2008 as part of the Hunter Foundation's mission to revitalize Tannersville.

Services
Ryan and Sandra relocated from Naples, Florida to pursue their passion for hospitality, love for the great outdoors, and fulfill their dream of becoming innkeepers. Sandra, a Florida native and proud Florida State Seminole, worked for The Ritz-Carlton for the last 15 years and most recently oversaw operations for the two resorts in Naples.

I drove my friend out of the city for a one-night, mid-week birthday getaway and it was everything we could ask for. The accommodation were great but Sandra's hospitality is what made our stay truly special. Also, Ryan made the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had in my life. I'm already planning on coming back with my spouse.

From the moment we arrived it has been nothing short of perfect! The fire pit outside is a great way to spend the evenings, the rooms beautiful fireplace and comfy bed was a perfect combination, the morning breakfast was delicious, the staff is incredible and welcoming. The hotel is in a perfect location for being out of the town but only a short few minutes to all the charm a small town has. 10 stars. Well done Sandra, Ryan, and all staff. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Can’t say enough about our stay! The hotel was spot on from the time we arrived to the time we had to leave (unfortunately)…Sandra and Ryan were perfect hosts and the attention to detail in the redecorated cabins and rooms in the lodge reflected their vision for mountain chill. The provided breakfast was delish! The setting was perfect and so close to town, restaurants, hiking and other activities. We will undoubtedly be back to unwind and enjoy everything there is to offer here.

What a great place to stay! Innkeepers, Ryan & Sandra, are super friendly, easy to chat with and excellent hosts! All staff we interacted with were engaging & knowledgeable. Breakfast each morning was a combination of ‘continental’ options and one hot dish offering, which were great. The rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable. The outdoor fire pit with s’mores and blankets were a great way to close the night. We don’t often go to the same place twice, but we’ll be back.

MB is heavenly. Slept better than ever and Sandra & Ryan are warm and friendly. We had to be out very early on a Sunday morning, before breakfast was served, and they made sure we had a hot breakfast! The rooms are immaculate and clean and look like they have just been renovated.
The scent from the fire pit is intoxicating and the porch is a great place to talk or take a nap. The grounds are beautiful too! I wish we could have spent more than a few days there and hope to return soon. MB was amazing in itself, but Ryan and Sandra put the lodge over the top. \

Wonderful 2 night stay in June '21. Our room was so beautiful and clean. Looks like it was recently renovated and they kept the rustic furniture. Modern wall A/C unit kept the room very comfortable. The bed and blackout curtains afforded us a good night's rest. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious and very filling. 100% would stay here again!
