Clear Lake Children's Center offers a wide range of services for children and adolescents. We offer screenings and evaluations for children from the age of 12 months to 17 years, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, learning disabilities, dyslexia, intellectual disabilities, and many more.
In our social skills group, "The Meetup", your child will learn and practice targeted social skills with other children who are also working on building relationships. Group topics include conversation skills, nonverbal communication skills, conflict resolution, behavior regulation, teasing and bullying, building friendships, and problem solving.

Services
Dr. Becky is a Licensed Psychologist with extensive training and experience in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents. She earned her doctorate from Texas A&M University and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist as well as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. She has over 19 years of experience working in public schools, community mental health clinics, hospital settings, and private practice.
Our team of experienced clinicians is dedicated to offering comprehensive behavioral, developmental, and mental health care for kids and teens. We offer screenings and evaluations for children between the age of 12 months and 17 years. For many young people individual child therapy with one of our therapists can be beneficial.
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna for parent consultation and child therapy. We are no longer accepting insurance for psychological evaluations. We are out-of-network with all other insurance providers, including Medicaid. If you would like to submit a claim to your insurance company for out-of-network services, we can provide you with a statement detailing the services provided once your invoice is paid in full.

Do not go to this place for testing, period. We brought our daughter here in June 2020 and Dr. Nicole Anderson tested her for Dyslexia and ADHD. We were told beforehand that they didn't deal with insurance and that we had to pre-pay for testing. However, we were told we would get a super bill with diagnosis codes that we could turn for… reimbursement with our insurance. We even verified with our insurance company the process for doing this prior to testing so that we would know exactly what would be covered and what would not. On Thursday, October 10, I took my ten-year-old son here for ability testing. I had scheduled this appointment in September and received a reminder call on Wednesday, which I absolutely appreciate. I also had received forms via email, which I printed out and brought to the appointment. My son really enjoyed Dr. Becky, and I feel that she is professional and competent. The test results were available by the end of the same day of testing, along with resources for us to move forward. I have already recommended Dr. Becky and her practice to several friends. The information we received has been invaluable
