Dr. Novack graduated from the UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI with an A.B. in 1968. Dr. Novack is also a 1973 graduate from the INDIANA UNIVERSITY School of Optometry, and has been practicing for 36 years, fitting thousands of patients with the latest technologically advanced eyeglass lenses and state of the art contact lenses.

I had my first visit to the office because I was looking for an ophthalmologist and needed Saturday hours. I was surprisingly able to get in within a week of my phone call. All three of the staff I came into contact with - the doctor and two others - were very kind and professional. The office was clean and sanitized between patients. Mask use and physical distancing procedures were consistent. Staff were helpful, and there was no pressure for services that weren't needed. Almost the opposite. There is a wide selection of frames, at reasonable prices. Standard and premium lenses are available.

I just love this place. I went in to get a pair of glasses and came out feeling like I had gained some family. The ladies in the front office were very helpful and patient with picking out my glasses because they really do have the largest selection in KC. They were honest when a pair did not look right on me and I very much appreciated that because no one wants to look bad in their new glasses. Dr. Novak was simple and to the point but very proficient at his job. No, he probably is not going to ask what your weekend plans are but he’s not being rude, he’s just an introverted kinda guy. Very disappointed in the way things have went with the office in Independence. My son's glasses broke I spoke with Independence office and September around the 18th and ask for new ones to be ordered. It is now December 28th I still have no new lenses for my son. His office states that it's the manufacturers false the manufacturer states that it is his office's fault. Everytime I call his office I get told that they have not heard from the manufacturer and are still trying to get ahold of them but yet when I call the manufacturer they're telling me that they can't get ahold of his office. The place ia always neat and clean. His wife is always friendly and professional. The assistant is.... an acquired taste but is overall pretty nice. The doctors bedside manner has improved over the years. Typically theres always an issue with billing or misinformation but normally they get it straightened out.

I visit the Kansas City Missouri location. I love it, the doctor didn't try to small talk with me. He was straight and to the point. The front desk ladies were so friendly, and so funny. It was clean and they were very good with sanitizing while we were there. Plus they had a wonderful selection on eyewear, and they were so helpful. I actually can't wait to go back and pick up my new glasses just to see them again!!
