We provide eye examination services for the whole family. From age 6 months to 110 years old, we can evaluate, diagnose, and treat your problems. This includes routine evaluation, urgent eye care, glaucoma management, and anything else you can imagine (just your eyes, of course). Our full-service optical can handle all eyewear jobs from simple to the most complex.
Family is at the heart of our business. Dr. Ryan founded Rosemore Eye Care in 2009 after completing his studies at University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in Human Biology in 2005 and his doctorate in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 2009. His clinical experience in school included a rotation through Mike O'Callahan Federal Hospital at Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas, NV.
We provide our services with the latest technology in order to provide the most accurate and thorough eye examination. Additionally, these devices can speed up your eye exam while maintaining excellence in care. The Optos Daytona houses a scanning laser that records an image of the retina (inside of the back of the eye).

Dr. Chen was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She explained all of her findings thoroughly and I learned a lot of new things. She went above and beyond in giving me advice and recommendations. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Chen. The staff was super courteous and polite. They have top notch Covid-19 safety precautions.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEY WILL NICKLE AND DIME YOU. I called to check that they are covered by my insurance after being told yes they do I made my appt. I came in for a simple contact renewal which I've never had to pay out of pocket since I use my HSA. Even if you count that as "out of pocket" it is no more than $120 that I charge to it for a year supply with the insurance discount. During the examination I was told I had an "eye infection" even though I did not feel any type of discomfort or express in any way my eye was bothering me. They then proceeded to prescribed medicine for it, and told me

Customer service is a big one for me and I couldn’t be happier with the service the ladies at Rosemore eye Care have provided me! Janie was incredibly nice and helped me get set up as a new patient here. They also do a great job at keeping all areas sanitized and clean for the next patient, so appreciative of that! It was my first experience at Rosemore Eye Care in The Colony, TX and I was very impressed with the staff, doctor, and environment! The office is taking all proper precautions to keep staff and patients safe and the office is impeccably clean and organized. Dr. Chen is truly the best optometrist I have ever had. I went in as a first time visitor and I was blown away by the amount of information she shared with me.
I have never had a doctor explain things so thoroughly or answer my questions so well. I have seen many eye doctors and felt most empowered by Dr. Chen.

High recommend this office! I went to another place last year for my first "real" eye exam. Not only were the staff lethargic, the doctor made me so nervous I didn't feel like I picked the right prescription for myself because she was rushing me through the slides.
At Rosemore, the front desk people are super friendly! They are environmentally conscious and the office is spotless. Dr. Chen is the BEST. Dr. Chen and at Rosemore Eye Care did a wonderful job helping me get my new glasses. Hailey greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and made me feel comfortable about seeing a new doctor. The optical staff there was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Dr. Chen also checked the health of my eyes, which I had never had done before. She let me know I had a condition that was causing eye discomfort and she gave me some drops which have helped so much. I love my new glasses and I have never seen so clearly in my life. Both my girlfriend and I have gotten our new glasses from Rosemore Eye Care in the colony. Both visits have been fantastic. They took their time. We never felt rushed on either of our two visits. they take their time finding the right pair of glasses and fitting the glasses to you. The office staff and doctors are super nice and make sure you understand everything available to you. You can also call in advance and find out if your insurance is accepted and they can get all your information ready so you know exactly what is and isn't covered by your insurance. Would highly recommend them.
