In those days, beer lovers had few selections to quench their thirst for ales, pilsners, porters, stouts and such. The Missipi Brewing Company was named to honor the artisans of craft and domestic beer.

Sisters food was cold and didnt even look appetizing at all!
Server sold me and even suggested a burger while having a burger basket as the special of the day… so cost more to get a single burger with no sides or anything then it would have cost to get the basket meal!

Nice and quiet establishment. Friendly staff. Awesome list of beverages. This bar has been around for many, many years, And has been a staple of the Muscatine genre. I recommend putting alot of change in parking meter. They are quick to ticket customers. Only $5 ticket , but still not a good send off. Will visit again with more change in pocket?

I have been a customer at Missipi Brew since 1990. The food is delicious. My favorite is grilled tendering and homemade potato chips with a side of ranch.

We just happened to be in town and came across this lively place along the river. Great location and atmosphere, great waitstaff and yummy food! Would definitely go again next time we’re in Muscatine.

The sandwiches were good. The tacos were the most basic taco; hard shell, seasoned meat, lettuce, cheese, tomato. It took multiple requests to get a second beer and water. It's a fun place and I suspect regular customers get better service.
