Our unit was in a good location to the bus stop and was clean when we arrived. The unit itself was as advertised. Getting discounted lift tickets and gear was a plus for this unit.
We had issues with the washing machine leaking & a quick response from the maintenance person. We also had issues with the dishwasher not turning on & did not get this issue resolved.
We had multiple issues with Retretia transportation. Multiple times throughout our stay we scheduled a ride with the bus past 5pm, & we were forgotten about multiple times, leaving us to wait in the cold with no ride for over an hour

The location of this condo for skiing is excellent. It's a short walk to the slopes. If your priority is avoiding the ski shuttles, parking, etc., you will be pleased. Parking at the condo was convenient (One spot is outside, but covered). Everything else is below average, at best.
The condition of the condo is downright poor. I was embarrassed that I rented this condo on behalf of not just my family, but also friends (that I consider family). I understand that we booked for the most popular time of the year and higher prices are to be expected

Kitchen was nice, ski-in/out was good. Little more like a small trail in and out, but still good. Retreatia was very helpful when needed. In town and the shops on Lincoln street were fun! Pizza at the slopes was fun for the family.
I would recommend this location, the shuttle was great as well. We only had a couple issues with them missing their schedule in the afternoon, but we called and retreatia took care of us. I wish I could give ZERO stars. Had a reservation for two nights in February. Major snowstorm came through and SHUT DOWN all roads, we could not get to Steamboat. Refused to give us a refund or credit of any kind. Absolutely horrible, rude customer service. When you manage properties in the mountains, you should expect this to happen occasionally and be flexible. Would not recommend at all.

Our rental we short term rent was poorly managed. The staff had horrible follow up. They have a high mark up with little pay off. We fired them last week and when we went into our place it was FILTHY and I took photos. Clearly animals were allowed in and we found hair all over (we dont own animals). I would highly recommend looking at other avenues.

Our rental was extremely dirty. Carpets were filthy. Kitchen chairs were stained. Rugs were also filthy. We washed all blankets, because they did not smell fresh and reined of mildew. Patio was dirty and chipped. There was garbage outside. There was also garbage and snot tissues under bed. There were French fries, chips and popcorn in the couch. We contacted Retreatia immediately, and they sent someone out to vacuum. This did not solve anything. This was on a Friday. On Monday we waited for manager to contact us, but he never did. The worst renting experience of our life...It was so bad you're not even going to be believe it. We rented from this company/owner in Florida. The first night we noticed roaches in the kitchen area. One of our group members owned a pest control company and became very concerned. These were German roaches that get into your luggage and come home with you and infest your house and become very difficult and costly to get rid of. DO NOT BOOK OR HIRE THIS COMPANY! My family and I booked a property 2 weeks in advance of stay. We arrived to check in only to discover that the property did not offer the amenities they advertised. 3 of their 10 property photos showed a hot tub. We were obviously shocked to find no hot tub when we arrived. When we contacted management they refused to work with us. The heat did not work, cabinets were broken off the hinges, hair in the bathrooms, broken/chipped plates and glasses, strong smell of death in downstairs bathroom, blankets had stains & hair in beds. Our experience with the people at the Retreatia was terrible. No sense of urgency, or consideration. We watched our room and hot tub be cleaned around 11am and wasn’t given our packet until after 4.

My family arrived at the condo La Casa 24 in the middle of a snow storm. Upon arrival they realized that the bedding consisted of a sheet and one thin blanket for each bed. The office informed them that was what the owner chose to provide because of Covid. They didn't want to wash each heavy blanket and comforter after each occupant. I was always under the impression that everything was always washed....Covid or not! So, they slept with with sweaters on and turned up the heat. I had booked a condo via the Steamboat Central Reservations and became the unfortunate soul to reserve a condo in which Retreatia is the property management company. I was to arrive at Steamboat on March 16th and on March 15th....Steamboat closed. This was in an email I received from Retreatia: Our leadership team, that is comprised of longtime locals in the Steamboat area, have decided that we must stick to our current cancellation policies, and at this time we are not offering refunds or credits.

They got the majority of the season and should be happy. They can get money fro n m the government this year. Next year they will lose money. Never, ever book with this company

Unbelievable, shortsighted, cruel. This business does not belong in Colorado, and should not survive after their decision to keep everyone's money who booked and prepaid skiing trips that the State has shut down now due to the Corona virus outbreak. We were so excited to have family and friends flying in for spring break ski vacation. Our own ski home on a different mountain wasn't big enough, so we rented ours out to another family and booked with Retreatia at Steamboat. When the mountain declared it was closed, the staff sounded like they understood and would be refunding. We refunded

I contacted Retreatia the day I found out that I was exposed to COVID-19. I'm a single mom of a young child who works at a hospital in Fort Lauderdale. We are still the hotbed of infections in Florida. I immediately emailed them to cancel and let them know that I have been exposed to COVID-19 and needed to cancel. As a single mom with a young child and this was a huge financial cost to us. I emailed them over 8 times now. I received an email saying that I would receive a refund, but then they sent numerous emails saying that they would not issue any refunds. Disgusting way to treat

After staying at many different condos at the Ptarmigan House over the last 30 years, this is the first time we have stayed in one that is managed by Retreatia. After checking in, I called about the small amount of supplies (1 small bar of soap) and they said it was up to use to furnish additional soap, toilet paper, etc. That evening we were unable to get the humidifier working so I called the next day and was told they didn't have any but they would tell the owner.
