Services
The Little Warriors program offers an age-specific curriculum that has been designed to teach children life skills in a fun, exciting and enriching manner. Once enrolled in our Little Warriors program, your child will become a more focused student in school and a better listener at home. Little Warriors learn the value of teamwork, good manners, respect as well as to try their best at all times.
The Youth program is specifically designed for children between the ages of seven to twelve. This program will greatly enhance your child's focusing skills, instill self-discipline and self-control, and increase self-confidence. We believe these traits will build a strong character and set a solid foundation for each of our students.
Isometric and dynamic tension exercises will strengthen the body; stretching will help develop optimum flexibility; warm-up exercises and sparring routines will develop cardiovascular fitness; and deep breathing and concentration exercises will relax your mind, sharpen your responses, and promote energy.
At WOW Taekwondo, we encourage parents and their children to participate in classes, enabling families to do something together while helping each other to achieve their goals. This program will give you the opportunity to learn and grow as a family. You will share the joy of seeing each other succeed, during challenges you will also motivate each other, which will help you grow closer and have a greater sense of respect for each other.
Our Elite Team is a select group of WOW students who are committed to training and participating in regional and national Tae Kwon Do competitions. The Elite Team trains under the guidance and leadership of Master Waisu Tadjou and Master Jonathan Fleming. There is an additional monthly financial commitment for the Elite Team, as well as an investment in the cost and fees associated with competition.

I highly recommend WOW Taekwondo. We have experienced the little warrior program and now the white belt classes and both are phenomenal! Master Fleming and Mr. Jordon do such a great job engaging the kids in such a fun way while also helping them gain strength, coordination, and attention. They not only learn Taekwondo but life skills. So happy to be here

Wow Taekwondo is incredible!!!! Master Fleming is a wonderful teacher! He’s great with both children and adults. I worked my way from white to black belt there and it was the most amazing journey. It’s a great workout and teaches self defense, self discipline, and so many other life lessons. Master Fleming genuinely cares about his students and their well-being. He gives his all to every student. This is definitely the best school out there!

This has been a wonderful opportunity for my son to learn too many skills to list them all here, such as the ability to use his strengths and discipline to overcome areas where he desires improvement when he practices and works hard along with the lesson that he will not progress until he applies that effort. Each belt brings new challenges in… terms of skills that do not always come naturally, but a moral lesson comes with every week that helps these students use their faith, minds, and hearts to conquer their setbacks and anxiety. We are truly blessed to be a part of this family-run organization

I've been a student at wow Taekwondo for almost a decade now and I can't imagine training anywhere else! Master Fleming is nothing short of awesome. His personality is captivating and his philosophy of "pursuing excellence" (seeking to become better at all aspects of life) can not only be applied to the class, it can be applied to everyday life!

After our daughter broke her leg she had weak muscle tone and couldn’t balance on one leg. After a year of hard work and dedication and lots of encouragement and instruction from Master Flemming, she is stronger than ever. WOW Tae Kwon Do isn’t just about teaching forms and moving your child to the next belt level. They are dedicated to helping your child achieve excellence— in mind, body and soul. Grateful to have found such an awesome place for my daughter to learn self defense and life skills.

My 5 year old has been attending the Little Warriors class for close to a year now and I only have wonderful things to say about this place! Each class is so engaging and really teaches the children life lessons. My son has learned the value of respect and having a well balanced life while still being physically active.

Well first off I don't even know where to begin. My brother came home crying from some of the kids picking on him. When I called in no one seemed to really care or want to even put a stop to this. We just moved to the area not to long ago and this place just gives me bad vibes now. We will NEVER be going back. Some of these kids even go to my little brothers school and he doesn't even want to go to school because he may get bullied by some of the kids in the class. I mean I'm just sickened by all this and can't believe nothing would have been done. If I seen a kid getting bullied

Where to begin? Master Jonathan Fleming (and his entire family) inspires students to work hard, overcome, persevere. He is compassionate, firm, encouraging, and supportive. He is using his God given gifts and talents to push our children to not only do their best, but be their best and not give up! This program does not hand out belts. You have to earn them, which takes time, patience, and hard work. The program at WOW builds confidence, discipline, and respect for authority, others and self. Having just recently moved to the Waxhaw area we were in a time crunch to find after school care for both our children. We had wanted to enroll the kids in a taekwondo studio as well but nothing seemed to work out place or timewise. We were so blessed that they had room to accommodate both my children. I can’t say enough about the staff. You can tell they are all family and this is not just a business for them but a mission. They are wonderful to my kids, while at the same time trying to instill a spirit of responsibility, helpfulness, discipline, and respect. I can’t say enough about how wonderful

My wife and I signed my 4 1/2 year old daughter up for a free trial class and were instantly impressed.
My daughter is very strong willed and doesnt always follow directions.
Master Flemming made class fun for all the children but is also an awesome teacher in explaining things and teaching respect and taekwondo. He is amazing in his way of communication both with children and adults. His wife and mother are also very supportive and involved which makes this even more amazing to have n our lives.. my wife and I also did a free trial class and plan on involving the practice in our whole lifes
