This apartment complex looks great from the outside, the inside is just okay. It’s a bit old, it is very noisy, there are tenants with young children who like to throw rocks and damage vehicles, the community playground, and other tenants doors. We were willing to overlook these things, but the final is straw was when my son decided to move out. Because he was moving to a different state and over 500 miles away, he ended up vacating the apartment a few weeks before the lease was up. The rent was paid IN FULL for his entire lease. He turned in the keys on the last day thinking he was being responsible

These apartments are expensive, old and poorly maintained. The office staff is well intentioned but overworked and they don't have time to do simple things like repaint the parking numbers so you don't accidentally park in someone's spot and wake up to your car getting towed (has happened 3x so far). It's not quite slumlord status but it's getting there. There are homeless people that wander through and it's not unusual to see the police here for domestic issues. Just the other day, I heard a tenant threaten another tenant with a gun over their dog barking at them as they walked past. Find a better

Worst apartments I've ever lived in.
to start maintenance was awful, the first day we moved in we already had cabinets falling off, you could tell were they put drywall over holes, my dryer was broken and when they gave me a "new" one. It was an old broken one from another apt that had edges that snagged clothes and it wouldn't even dry. They said they were going to have someone try and clean out the lint tunnels but that never happened.
The people in the office don't care, most the peoples dogs are not friendly, our garbage was never picked up half the time even though

These apts are in great need of help. The owners should hire a much bigger crew for maintenance. Trash all over the property, rodent infested garbage site. mold around windows. front door knobs that do not turn or open unless you use a grip pad. toilets that do not flush 'properly'. dishwashers that break and are not repaired for 6 weeks. (still not repaired) UNACCEPTABLE. I am sure some of these are a Safety Violation. Another very important issue are the non functioning outside water drains, my family had to wade through 3/4 inches of standing water during the holidays to get in to the apt.,

Anytime I call the office it always goes to voicemail. When I do shoot them an email or leave a voicemail they never respond to me. I am unable to pay rent because they could not figure out how to properly input a rental agreement. The water constantly runs in the bathtub at it wasn't worth fixing to them before renting the unit. I can barely operate the front door lock as it seems to stick badly, sometimes it requires a firm shoulder in the door and other times someone needs to just lock it from the inside.

Someone contact the better business bureau, an attorney, the cops, anyone who will help address this place and their crazy safety hazards.
Several stair cases with ripped off caution tape and cones pushed aside since management decided to take months without action on fixing the stairs that have been painted red, warning to not step on them.
Several balconies with rotten wood and missing pillars. If a child is on the balcony and falls they will fall through the missing pillars
Requests have been made months ago and no action taken by maintenance or management.

I am writing this from Asia, on behalf of an elderly woman living at Altivisa 23. She has recently gone through cancer surgery for her lung, and suffered severe, life threatening, complications. Upon her return to her unit there was a lot of snow and there was no maintenance to clean the walkways or driveways of the snow and/or ice. This made her miss several of her follow-up appointments because she was afraid to leave her unit as she might slip and fall. Needless to say, these follow-up appointments are critical to her care. She ended having to wait for the snow to melt before she was able to

I wish I could give 0 stars. I was waiting for all of my work orders to be completed before writing a review but I’ve given them multiple chances to get their customer service together and I just can’t wait any longer. I will update if they start taking longer with my work orders due to this review as well.
I lived in a one bedroom apartment here for about 8 months under a different office manager and everything went smoothly - work orders were addressed efficiently, never had any issues. After 6 months I was eligible for an upgrade to a bigger unit but I was just waiting for rent prices to

The management of Alvista 23 has decided to charge residents for services that are not being rendered. My lease provided for Valet trash service at $25/month. I was glad to have this service available because I am a 60+ female with a bad back. We were charged $25 for Valet trash service on January 1, 2021, however no service was forthcoming. The residents were promised a $25 credit on their February rent bill since management was unable to procure the service for us. To my dismay, the February bill did not include the promised $25 credit; instead there were two new charges for Valet Trash Service

There's a communication issue with management. We've dealt with multiple important maintenance problems that haven't received any response. While we understand the role Covid has to play in things like this, it does not restrict management having the decency to respond to our requests... Even if the response is that it will take some time before our issues can be taken care of.
The only communication we've received is that our rent is increasing.
