Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
We were looking for a condo for my daughter for next school year. Kate and Blaire were super helpful, professional and kind. They took time to answer numerous questions I had. Would highly recommend calling them.

Critical: Responsiveness
Requested info a week ago now on a property that is still listed today. I even called and left a message (with my name and number) with the listed realtor, Jeremy Tackett, 6 days ago. Still no response. Very unprofessional. 😞

I lived at Tillman Place apartment and CRE took care of us for 2 years. If there was any problem they would fix it in 2-3 days. The apartment was great and we got good service from CRE. Very good management. Thank you CRE

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. My boyfriend and I started our lease amidst the corona chaos so instead of a tour we received a video walk through, which we were completely fine with, but upon move in we very quickly realized our unit was COMPLETELY different and most definitely not ready for new residents. There were multiple holes in the flooring, the microwave door was chipped, the window sill had been very clearly painted over where a dog had evidently chewed off the corner, etc. We turned in the list but none of these things were fixed. We NEVER received a single 24 hour notice

They just want to take your money which is very typical slow to fix the things and unprofessional when they would fix things often times would walk into apartment with out notice to fix something. They will try there best to give you no money off of your security deposit for little things like a command strip being forgotten on the wall when others would use nails or screws and you didn’t because you didn’t want to damage anything. They will charge you the money it costs to repaint the entire place because a couple of command strips.

One star is too much. Renters beware. Maintenance is horrible and they try their best to take your money and takes zero responsibility.
A single bulb that didn't work upon my move-in took them ONE MONTH to fix. And the VACATING process is horrible: I rented only for a year, taking over a lease from someone. Before I signed the lease, I asked specifically what I need to do to avoid being held responsible for a guy's 5-year lease. And they told me that I don't need to worry about getting it back unless I poke a hole in the wall. And a year later, just about to move out, they want the carpet to be

Renters beware! Keep in mind that part of your security deposit is actually a "fee". Prior to returning your keys to them at the end of the lease, they will give you one cleaning checklist, but test you based on a totally different, more thorough checklist and start deducting! I swept, mopped, and steam mopped my floors, and they said it wasn't good enough. Also read your lease carefully... they require you to have all carpets professionally steam cleaned and a receipt given to them, even if only 1 small bedroom in the entire house is carpeted (and keep in mind that carpet cleaners charge a minimum

I honestly wish I could give them zero stars. I have rented from Carolina Real Estate for a year and a half now, living in two different apartment complexes in Clemson. I have not missed a payment since renting from this agency, but according to them I have. I am now expected to pay $325 for rent that I have already paid. This disorganization is being blamed on me and they are taking zero credit for it. I highly suggest not renting from this agency, this is not the only time they have shown me they do not care about their tenants. I personally will NOT be renting from them ever again.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Carolina Real Estate's office staff is rude, disorganized, and generally acts like dealing with any of their renters is beneath them. They take every opportunity to squeeze you for money. You have to replace windows and screens if someone breaks into your apartment that way. You get charged $25 if a plastic bag with something in it is left on the porch (lease says "garbage bag" - has happened for grocery bags too). Their way of scheduling a showing of your apartment is informing you a day or two that it's going to happen at a certain time. The maintenance people

Not a great renting experience. They know they will rent the apartments to someone so they don't make any attempt to keep you around. Maintenance will get to you eventually but it's best to call 3-4 times if you want things fixed within a week. One time the office called one of my roommates at work to tell him that we were a month overdue on rent and they would be starting eviction proceedings the next day. He wasn't able to get in touch with the other roommate who was supposed to have paid the rent so he left work and raced down there. Upon arrival he found out they had simply misplaced the check
