Great experience. Nick was very professional and willing to work with whatever you need. I needed a corporate-style headshot, he was able to get me in the next day, and the results were great. Competitive pricing for the area, and less pricey than some of the comparable studios in the Pasadena area. Highly recommend.

My small business rents Nick's studio space twice a month for professional hassle-free photos for our website, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Nick provides all of the equipment except for a camera, sets up the lights to our liking, and lets us do our thing with no interference unless we run into a question. His studio is both really affordable to rent and super easy to navigate for someone like me who knows very little about photography, but needs high quality images done hassle free. Also, Nick is a really great guy!

I went to Nick for a business headshot and couldn't be more pleased. He works quickly and knows what he's doing. The entire appointment lasted less than 30 minutes and I had the proofs within the hour. All of them looked great which is incredible since I'm not exactly model material. I selected a favorite and had the finished headshot within a couple of hours.
Nick is easygoing and friendly which made the experience all the more pleasant. I'd like to have some family photos taken and will definitely return.

The photographer that designers choose first! I finally went in this morning for a long overdue head shot for myself. Though I have hired Nick many times in the past for dozens of my clients, and referred him as THE one to go to in Pasadena, I never seemed to get a proper photo of myself. I went in dreading it and left having had a lively photo shoot filled with fun conversation, and a lovely shot that I can now proudly post on my website and promotional materials. Why did I put it off for so long?

Nick Boswell came highly recommended by a major corporation. With such referral from my industry peers, I went in yesterday to get my professional headshot taken. Nick was extremely professional and took 91 shots/proofs for me to select from. Being that I'm a bit of a girly girl, Nick was extremely patient during the photo shoot and allowed me 3 outfit and 2 background changes to get the very best headshot I could get. He quickly turned the proofs within an hour, which was amazing! Once I selected my proof, Nick meticulously did the finishing touches to make me look beautiful and professional

Our company send all the new employees to Nick for the professional headshots. I scheduled my session but had to change it last min. Nick was able to squeeze me in within one day notice. Nick was super nice and funny. During the session, he really put me at ease and was able to capture few good pictures of me.
The picture come out amazing! My husband said "I didn't know that I had such a hot wife".
His rate is very reasonable too ($125).

I love Nick's studio. It's so nice with a warm and welcoming feeling and a cozy dressing area for clothing changes between shots, and makeup and hair touchups. Nick makes you feel relaxed right away and the feeling that you're in good hands. I came for professional photos for my LinkedIn and online dating pages. A number of my friends have gone to him so I knew his reputation for quality work. I went to the studio to have a business portrait taken for my LinkedIn profile. It took only15-20 minutes! Nick was friendly and professional, and so was his staff. It was a relaxed atmosphere and you instantly felt comfortable. There's a changing area and some supplies if you want to freshen up. I called Nick on a Friday afternoon needing an updated headshot for work. I thought he would just be able to book me the upcoming week but he managed to fit me in the NEXT day (Saturday!)

We made a last minute decision to shoot a family portrait and Nick was able to squeeze us in just 2 hrs later. We went through at least 25 poses, which gave us LOTS of choices for print. His touch up service (I think standard with all photo packages) did an awesome job - people said that my mother in law looked 20 years younger!

I just needed a simple headshot for my portfolio. I was in shock with the prices, it was unbelievable. I didn't want to go to Sears, Target, or JC Penney. I wanted a real photographer to do the job. My budget is very tight, I didn't give up hope, I kept searching online, and just by googling I found Nick Boswell. He was very professional, down to earth, no drama, and most important no extra fees. He made me laugh, relax and final result was a master peace.
