Dr. April Lee has been practicing orthodontics in the Bay Area since 2008. She opened the doors to Burlingame Smile Studio in 2015 after many years of planning and preparing to provide her patients with the best orthodontics and customer service around. Qiana is our patient care coordinator who has over 10 years of orthodontic experience and has a passion to see patients smile. Though she has worn many hats along her orthodontic journey, her priority is always making sure everyone's experience is personal and special. She will greet you with a smile on her face from your first initial phone call.
Dr. April Lee is a certified specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial orthopedics. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Health Care and Social Issues from the University of California at San Diego, her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California at San Francisco, and her Orthodontic Specialty training and Masters of Science in Craniofacial biology from USC.

Dr. Lee and her staff bring smiles to faces! The foundation is love and dedication to their work and patient focus. You feel it from the first visit, until the treatment is complete. Dr. Lee and her entire staff gave my 8 yr old the attention and focus every time we visited. They took the extra time to make him feel comfortable as they were taking images and getting him fitted. Dr Lee is very professional and her staffs are friendly. Feeling safe in the office. Office is clean and has covid protocols in place. My son was transferred to Dr Lee last year and with all the professional treatments, all his teeth problems got fixed in a year. He's now off braces and on retainers. Thank you Dr Lee! Dr. Lee and staff have been really wonderful - over the phone to schedule appointments and in-person during the actual appointments. Dr. Lee is always so thorough every visit, goes over the process and always accommodates questions. My experience at the clinic has always been pleasant - super clean, super organized, super safe esp during the pandemic, and everyone is just so friendly! I loved my experience here at Burlingame Smile Studio! Not only are my teeth as perfect as I wanted, the best part was the staff members. April Lee is very professional at her job, Rose is a great receptionist, and Maria is the sweetest girl I've ever met!! From making jokes with all of them to singing along to the music at the office, I looked forward to each and every appointment I made. My 8 years old's teeth were getting crowded, and I was referred to Dr. Lee at Burlingame Smile studio by our dentist. Dr. Lee and her staff are very friendly and responsible. My boy wore an expander while we waited for his teeth to come out so he could have Invisalign. However, we decided to move Southern California, and we discussed this matter with Dr. Lee in the middle of treatment. She didn't mind giving us a refund.

My son has been going to Dr. Lee for 2 years. It’s amazing how his teeth turned out. She did an excellent job with his teeth. Everyone in the office are super nice. Dr. Lee is very professional and her office is kid friendly. (Adults are welcome too) When you call for an urgent issue, Dr. Lee always find time to squeeze you in. My daughter's dentist noticed that her baby teeth were already getting impacted (at age 7) and mentioned that her adult teeth would likely come in impacted and too crowded to fit in her mouth. He referred us to Dr. Lee at Burlingame Smile.

Dr. Lee and her team are amazing! There are all very friendly! My husband and I did our invisalign with Dr. Lee and we are so happy that we did! My teeth looks beautiful now and I highly recommend Dr. Lee for invisalign. She is very thorough and precise and let's u know the timeframe of when you can see actual results. I would also like to praise her assistant Maria. I like how she explains and tells me every step that she does and that is really helpful for every patient to make them feel calm and at ease. I'm so glad my previous dentist referred me to Dr. April Lee! My teeth weren't terrible to begin with but I've always wanted straighter teeth, mainly for hygienic reasons, and I'm very happy with my results.
My teeth are straight, so there aren't any hard-to-reach areas between my teeth now. And my bite is corrected, which apparently has changed the shape of my face/jaw, but I can actually chew on both sides of my mouth now!
The staff are amazing and responsive. Teddy is their friendly office dog. And Dr. Lee really cares about her patients' teeth, but be aware

I immediately felt warm and welcomed by her team. Then I met Dr. April Lee and she also made me feel at home in her clinic. Dr. Lee and her staff are awesome! We had come from another practice that was always super busy and ran their practice in a different manner. While I understand that they produced great results, I feel like Burlingame Studio provides client service with the most thoughtful and direct care. Dr. Lee is very personable and amazing. They're very accommodating and don't take a month and a half to give you you're next availability if you're rescheduling. We brought in our 8-year-old boy for expander consultation because his teeth are really crowded. Dr. Lee has a dream team. Kiana and Cindy are really nice and easy to work with in terms of payment plans and appointment. We had a couple of incidents that his bracket fell out. Kiana got him in the very next day and Dr. Lee got it fixed at no extra charge! She took really good care of our little boy and he is fond of her. We highly recommend Dr. Lee and her team.

Dr. Lee is amazing! My daughter has been her patient since last year. They were honest about everything at the beginning. They helped us with insurance issues, which we appreciate a lot. And the most important thing is that Dr. Lee is very good at her job! My daughter had a mouth full of terrible teeth after her baby teeth were all gone. We can see great improvement along the way ever since Dr. Lee has been working on them. We are looking forward to the day when she is off her braces.
