I work at Assembly so went here for the convenience, but I will 100% be going back! It is beautiful inside. The staff was SO nice. Lucy did a gel mani for me and she is the sweetest!
It takes a lot for a nail salon to impress me as I've been to a lot of them in the past, but this place is great and I highly recommend it. I work in the building above/next door and it has been a huge convenience from commuting to the North End for my biweekly manicures and pedis. I can easily walk-in during a lunch break or after work to kill time during the evening rush hour.

There are no set rules for Express Facial sessions, but a typical treatment usually consists of cleaning, exfoliation, mask, toner, and moisturizer. After all, you've got and you're good to go. The treatment facial deeply cleanses and exfoliates dead surface skin. Steaming first opens the pores and disinfects, followed by extractions to remove embedded impurities, then a massage of the face neck, shoulders and decollete.

Bad experience
When I walk in and told them that I have a reservation
They didn’t even have my name updated
Also I had to told the workers over and over again and what color I want and which service I want none of them understand. Later other guy came up to remove my nail he told me to follow him and what he start doing was cutting off my nails as short as he can without asking ….
He seems like he is not used to using the drill remover also she couldn’t recognize gel remover and nail polish remover. I could tell he is unprofessional and doesn’t even ask what customer wants??? And made

I visited AR Nail Bar about 5 days ago for a quickie pedi and gel polish change. My technician was a lovely woman, so I really hesitated to write this review. However, I sent an email directly to the salon 5 days ago and have not received any response from them whatsoever.
After confirming twice that my pedi was try, the tech insisted that I put on my shoes - and even started doing so for me, seemingly in a hurry. When I got home, I saw that three of the nails were smudged. As a result the pedi looks terrible - worse than I could have done myself.
Worse, the tech cut into the flesh of my toe

Update on my last review: after emailing them twice, AR Nail salon finally called me several minutes ago (9 days since the appt). They had the audacity to ask me to "stop by" with my infected toe to "prove it" to them. Don't be fooled - AR Nail Salon is to be avoided. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE (unless you want to waste time and money and get an infection).

From the moment we walked in, the workers were rude to me and my two friends I brought with me. We had made an appointment the day before and due to the train delay we thought we were going to be 2-3 minutes late, so we called and let them know. Immediately they tell us— with an attitude— that our appointment is going to be canceled if we’re not there right on the dot. So we run across the st and make it 2 minutes early. We arrive and tell them our reservation. They told us that we had to wait and ended up waiting around 20 minutes. During the whole process the nail technicians were annoyed

I don't usually leave reviews but I was pretty bummed. Had 3 different people work on my nails. The first person cut me TWICE, then said "you're fine" when I said ow and then while my nails were soaking she disappeared, then another person stepped in when he saw that I was sitting there with no one for over 10 minutes. Then a third person finished my nails (the last person, Linda, was very sweet, careful around my cuts and painted my nails well, so if you go try to get her!). With all of that, it took over an hour just for gel nails.
