For over 30 years we have produced Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and a blend of white Italian varietals in Dundee, Oregon. Our estate vineyard, Clos Electrique, is planted with multiple clones in the Burgundian style. Our partner, Abbey Ridge, is one of the oldest and most beautifully-farmed vineyards in the state.
Our grapes are sustainably farmed & not irrigated. Since we are notoriously poor communicators, there is absolutely no chance that your email will be shared with anybody. One of our fall rituals has traditionally been battling songbirds, who arrive in the vineyard en masse in October to feast on our newly ripened grapes.

Winemaker John Paul coaxes every last drop of Pinot Noir during harvest at Cameron Winery. John Paul, the irrepressible owner and winemaker of Cameron, founded the winery in 1984. After working out of a roofless warehouse on the other side of the tracks in McMinnville, we moved to our current location in the hills above Dundee.
At Cameron Winery and in many of the cellars of our associates in the Deep Roots Coalition, the answers are unqualified "Yes!" In addition the grapes are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fungicides. The wines of Cameron are extremely age-worthy and the patient consumer will be amply rewarded years down the road by sticking them away.
All of our vineyards are grown with utmost respect for the environment and with the thought in mind that these vines will continue to nourish our children and their children and their children for many generations to come. To that end we do not spray any nasty petrochemicals on our vines nor do we support the world vision of Monsanto.
Our oldest vineyard is Abbey Ridge located high in the Dundee Hills at an elevation range of 500-700 feet. The first vines were planted here in 1976 and, as some of the oldest vines in Oregon, they produce some of Cameron's finest wines. A slightly younger block of Pinot noir was planted in 1990 on a hillside above the original vines.
The estate vineyard at Cameron Winery consists of approximately 3 acres of Pinot noir, 2 acres of Chardonnay, 0.5 acre of Italian white grape varieties and 1 acre of Nebbiolo. Each block of vines is planted to multiple clones. This technique increases the complexity of the resulting wines as well as giving the vineyard great resilience in the face of various of climatic and biological impediments.
