Services
In 1987, Argyle was founded by pioneering vintner Rollin Soles, with a belief that the cool-climate of Oregon's Willamette Valley was ideal for producing sparkling wines. Our winemaking program now includes sparkling wines, Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Rieslings, which have earned acclaim for their elegance, vineyard-driven character and uncommon ageability.
We are excited to welcome you to the Argyle Tasting House and look forward to offering you an exceptional experience. Enjoy flights and experiences ranging from $30-$75. Glass pours are also available, as is retail wine to go. Looking for info on special events? See more here. We are open for indoor and outdoor seating.
This November and December, we invite you to join us for four special Local's Nights featuring Burgers and Bubbles! Each Local's Night we will be throwing it back to the Spirit House, where we started sharing bubbles in 1987. We can't think of a better way to spend a cozy winter Thursday than with Wooden Heart's wine country inspired burgers curated with locally sourced ingredients, perfectly paired with Argyle bubbles.
You could say that we're in the business of reincarnation here at Argyle. The original winery in Dundee, Oregon was once home to a hazelnut processing plant. In 1987, we started calling it home, trading in 'filberts' for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling grapes. The very room where all of our wines were crafted for nearly 30 years is now the Argyle Tasting House.
An Argyle Wine Club membership is the best way to take advantage of customer discounts and benefits as well as stay current on the most recent seasonal releases available. We invite you to join Argyle's Wine Club community today. Use your benefits immediately - just sign up below, then login to place an order and your discounts will automatically apply.

We didn’t have reservations but they fit us in. I liked the environment. They were friendly and accommodating, we’ll for sure come back.

Mark M made this an excellent experience! Definitely recommend! He not only taught us an abundance about the wines we were able to experience, but crafted the perfect arrangement of wines to perfectly suit our palates. High recommendations to not only this vineyard, but for this specific server as well.

This place was gorgeous!!! Great wine & really kind, helpful service from this radiant vegetarian gal! Lots of beautiful people here - I felt like a troll walking in so be prepared to feel like you're in LA. I was in town visiting & as I went to write this review, was searching for Argyle in California because I actually forgot where I was lol. So bougie!! Really beautiful spot in Oregon's incredible wine country. Recommend!!

We joined their wine club this year as I have always enjoyed their outdoor tasting area and easily accessible locale. I'm also a huge sucker for bubbles so anything that involves sparkling wine is a yes in my book. That being said, as a member I have been disappointed thus far. The tastings feel very impersonal, as they drop off a pre poured flight, quickly explain what you have and leave you to your own devices. There's really not much interaction/discussion, which is what makes wine tasting so much fun. I recognize they're busy and wine tasting experiences similar to other wineries

Lucas was awesome! Went with my galpals to do some whine tasting and Lucas was knowledgeable and professional but super patient with my nonsensical questions (new wine taster here🙋‍♀️) and helped me find "my" wine! Thanks Lucas, you made my first wine tasting memorable :)

Nothing too special about this place, for me. The wine was good but a bit too many tannins for my liking. We did a classic tasting and could have been in and out within 15-30 mins. The pours were a decent amount. Our server rushed though everything and only came back once. If you are looking for a place to hang out with friends this might be your spot. We were hoping for a more personal interaction but it was clear that due to the capacity of the space there was a need for servers to rush to every table and cycle fold in and out of reservations.

When it comes to the perfect mix or venue, atmosphere, endless great wines and the beautiful blend of them all…it’s Argyle.
We recently had a birthday celebration there and we had a private room experience. Just walking in gives you all the happy feels because it really feels like you are stepping into another world. Elegant wine glasses, staff that curated the best flight of options, and of course friend and family time spent over a glass.
We love this place, especially the sparkling wine. If you are a Red drinker, white sipper or a sparkling popper, Argyle will offer them all.

The vibe and layout here are spectacular. The walls and ceiling are immaculate, and very open for noise dampening. You might feel like you're around a bunch of people, but you can't pick out any one specific conversation. Which is great because this was our third stop out of three for our wine tasting day.
If you haven't read my other review, I was a designated driver for a girls night out, where I was designated an honorary female and allowed to sample wines, but not drink significantly. This tasting facilitator (I never know the technical term. Sommelier?), Phillip, also returned my back-and

We had a lot of fun visiting Argyle. Beautiful tasting room, and our wine expert Rachel was very accommodating and knowledgeable about wine. She made us feel welcome, and she gave us recommendations for places around the area. After visiting a few other wineries around, we appreciate her
friendliness and will definitely come back!

This place was great for a birthday tasting outing. Their flights consisted of 5 tastings for $30 and the service was great. Rachel gave us the rundown on each wine and came back consistently to checked on our needs. Also purchased their fruit/nuts/cheese/crackers box and it came with (what I thought were) huge pieces of cheese! Sat outside under their clear plastic tarps in the rain with the heaters and were all perfectly content.

We really enjoyed the wine flight - everything we tasted was delicious, but felt a little rushed to leave after since our reservation was at the end of the night. Would absolutely go back, but wish we'd known to book our reservation for earlier so we'd have more time and opportunity to have a glass of wine after our flight.

Do you notice an uptick of Willamette Valley wineries showing up at your local bottle shop? The secret is out! Today, Oregon has more than 700 wineries in total, making it one of the top 5 wine producing states in the US. Of course, everyone is familiar with the big wine business of Napa. But lately Willamette Valley is getting its time in the spotlight. Located just 50 miles south of downtown Portland, Willamette Valley is an easy day trip. The region is perhaps best known for its prized Pinot Noir, but it's also producing plenty of cool-climate varieties such as Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and

We had a great time stopping at the Argyle Winery. Rachel was an incredible host who helped us through each and every wine. She made wonderful suggestions of what we may enjoy trying and had such a passion for the many Argyle vineyards and their production. This winery is a must-see and we will definitley be stopping by again and asking for Rachel's help!

We were previously members at Argyle because their wine is wonderful. However, we have recently canceled due to their Covid precautions and customer service.

We were going to taste their wines with friends and, due to the ongoing global pandemic, need to be seated outdoors. This didn't seem like it should be a big deal due to their large outdoor space, ample seating and our advance reservation. However, upon calling to see if we could be seated outdoors, I was told that weekends can be very busy and they couldn't guarantee anything. I said that we would be driving from about 90 minutes

Wine tasting is about the elegance of the experience, the story, the wine...It's about slowing down time, and savoring the wine and the moment.
Argyle gets it, and does it right.

Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon. The atmosphere is nice, but we looked around and every other couple was seated in comfy, plush seats. We were seated on wooden chairs. We asked to be reseated and they did. It was just weird.
I ordered a flight of sparkling wine. My husband requested a glass of Pinot noir. The service was fast, so fast that I was served 2 glasses at a time. I felt like I had to drink mine quickly before the bubbles were gone. That was disappointing. However, we both got one extra glass to taste that was not changed on our bill. OK. But it’s not why I went. That’s why the

$30 for the pop flight. Spectacular sparkling wines. Warm tent with heaters, dog friendly, and comfortable couches. Right next to red hills market where we went for lunch. No views like some of the other vineyards but delicious! Great on a cold and rainy day. They also let us stay longer so our dog and my wife could take a nap

Was visiting the Willamette Valley and wanted to find a winery that had sparkling wines. Argyle was one of the few places that had an actual sparkling flight. We flew on Alaska Airlines so we got our tastings for free. You can read more about the free tastings in detail here (https://www.theluxurylowdown.com/free-wine-tasting-part-5-willamette-valley-oregon/) if you're interested. Overall, the experience was great, but the sparkling wines were okay. We ended up buying a bottle of Chardonnay that wasn't on the tasting. Luckily, our server let us tried a little extra something they had

Argyle has done an amazing job in setting up
Tastings outdoors under their big tent. There were a lot of people but everyone was spaced appropriately.

Our specialist was nice and we enjoyed talking to her. Good wine and I think this place would be great in the summer!
