We have lived in San Marco for the past five years and are quite fortunate to call this place home. Everyday we would see security guards patrol the area, 24/7, making our gated community feel extremely safe. Property administration has always, always been able to help us as residents with all sorts of repairs, from air conditioning to circuit breakers, without delay. So reliable. They provide professional landscaping, bug control services, trash removal and much more. We are blessed to live in beautiful Boca Raton via San Marco.

For $2500 go rent a place on the beach that actually is a “place”. “Gated community”.... what a joke. I lived there for almost 3 years with about 2 weeks of working gates. Despite promises over promises from management-this was never fixed. Cars are getting broken into and a very unsafe complex to live in. 2 swimming pools? In 3 years living there… we’ve had 2 swimming pools on and running maybe for couple of months. Now... let’s talk about maintenance... you submit a request and maybe 3 weeks later they will respond. Legit the worst apartment complex i have ever encountered. The office staff are the meanest, rudest and most inconsiderate people i have ever met. I work as a leasing agent at another apartment complex and cannot imagine treating customers in such a way they do. DO NOT LIVE HERE if you wish to be respected and treated like a valued resident.
Horrible, wish i could give zero stars because one is too much credit.

Disrespect/lack of knowledge for residents schedule. I was hosting a conference call meeting and then start hearing the roofing guys pounding directly above my unit. Regardless of whatever “professional” process these people use for roofing, these sounds would be no different than me going up there with a sledge hammer and just pounding away. Apart from that, I’m not saying don’t fix the roof. I am saying they should have been more in touch with the residents and what time frames should take place for the project and where unit section wise. It is honestly comical, my god. I want to express my appreciation for the amazing team at San Marco Apartments in Boca Raton. The Office ladies are amazing and very helpful. The manager is a sweetheart who make you feel at home right away. And Miss. Mercedes is very nice and friendly. The property is well maintained and very safe. UNPROFESSIONAL AND A TIME WASTER. If I could give this place no star, I would. So I made an appointment online a week ahead to check out the place and called multiple times to receive further information about the place. However, no one answer my calls or respond towards my voicemails. Even though no one return my calls, I still went the appointment since I thought I could get my questions answered while getting a tour. I drove an hour for the appointment. Very happy that I kept all of them when they tried to not refund me my deposit. They did not do repairs for service requests in a timely fashion. It was really hard searching for an apartment with being quarantined. The office staff made it super easy to help me find a new home! (Thanks to Joey and Mercedes)!!! They were very responsive and reassuring throughout the process. After I moved in the maintenance guy were extremely fast to come and fix a few work orders that I had (thank you big mike)!!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone!!

The apartment complex should have 2 pools in use for residents. Since we entered and rented the apartment (July 2018), the people in the administration office indicated that the pool closest to our home would be fixed. They also told us that the main pool would work with water at adequate temperature. As of today (January 2019), it does not seem on the part of the staff of the administration office that they intend to fix any of the two pools. ".... Today, I do not recommend this place !!! ....."

The first thing I would like to point out is how all the reviews that were once posted have been deleted due to every single one of them explicating how poorly this community is ran. There was a murder in the neighborhood prior to us moving in but they won't tell you that. People constantly sneak in the resident gate by driving through the gap on the side of the pole. How hard is it to get gates that keep people out?

This community is absolutely beautiful and the staff is incredible. Joey, Francisco, and Tabitha are a great team; extremely helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is in a perfect location, very close to shops and entertainment. To anybody searching for an apartment, look no further. I have been inside several different units and they are all identical in terms of the quality and cleanliness. I highly recommend living at San Marco at Broken Sound.
