Owner/Technician, Rodger Houseman, grew up on Hilton Head and has lived in Bluffton/Hilton Head area since 1961. He has been ASE certified for over 25 years. He was employed by the local Mercedes-Benz dealer for nearly 23 years, during which he frequently participated in factory training. He then worked for a local independent shop for over 4 years before making the move to open AutoTechs of the LowCountry, LLC.

To the whole entire staff, I just wanted to thank you again for the red carpet service that you gave to me. I have dealt with many businesses in the past, but none have ever given me the treatment that you presented to me when I was in an emergency situation. The best mechanics I've ever used. Their prices are fair and reasonable and their work has always been great. Also, very professional and pleasant on the phone. They take the time to explain what they found and what they would do to correct the issue. There's no funny business or hidden costs they try to sneak in. They've always spoke to me with respect and never in a patronizing manner, which I so appreciate!

I'm visiting here from California and my engine on my old 97 Camry started running rough and the check engine light came on. I first went under my hood and attempted to reset all my ignition coil wires just in case they were coming loose. Then I checked two automotive repair locations. One scheduled me for two days later, and wanted me to leave my car all day. The other scheduled me for today but said the diagnostics would be $130 & would not be included in the repair price. Just had my suspension replaced and could not be more pleased with the service. When the part arrived damaged, we were notified immediately and the replacement was sent right away. Just picked up my Odyssey yesterday and the new suspension is great. Steve is honest and trustworthy and the price they quoted was on point PLUS I got an extra $50.00 off! It doesn't get much better than that!

I always know that for all my general vehicle services I may need all from a battery check to a full oil service , and pretty much any other car concerns I may have in between I will always stick with the experts here, Autotechs of the Lowcountry

Wow! Auto Techs of the Lowcountry is by far the best Auto Repair place in South Carolina. After hopping from one place to another with various prices for an upper arm control & full set of tires. Auto Techs gave me a fair reasonable price within minutes and had the parts I needed ASAP. Steve and Tim perform to the utmost of their ability EVERY VISIT. Having car troubles is horrible but knowing that Auto Techs of the Lowcountry has got it covered is very reassuring. Thank you Auto Techs! - PROMPT, RELIABLE, AFFORDABLE, FRIENDLY! I first contacted Autotechs as I was new to the area and looking for a good mechanic. Wow! It's not often that you see a combination of fair and reasonable pricing, trustworthiness and some of the best customer service anywhere!
I contacted Autotechs about an issue I was having with my 2006 Audi A4...electrical problems. Although they did not diagnose the issue due to not having the software, Autotechs made some suggestions and I ended up with a good repair alternative. After getting an oil leak, Autotechs quickly diagnosed and fixed the issues with assistance from an outside technical expert

I highly recommend these guys! They are fast, efficient and more importantly, honest! I have lived here only a few years and have always gotten my car serviced (other than a routine oil change) back in my home town. As a single female, I've struggled with finding someone I can trust because I have gotten ripped off several times even with a routine oil change! These guys were AWESOME! They took the time to explain every service to me in full detail and even drove me to work as a courtesy. Excellent work and customer service!
