All orthodontists must be licensed to practice, however board certification is a voluntary achievement that all orthodontists do not choose to pursue. In order to become board certified by the ABO, an individual orthodontist is thoroughly interviewed by a highly respected panel of examiners to demonstrate their orthodontic knowledge, clinical skills and judgment.

We were in Newport News briefly for a Christmas lights tour. My daughter had wires poking her so we called.
Secily was the very nice, wan that greeted us and Sandy helped is to. Overall everyone was so nice and helpful and snipped the wires for my daughter as a courtesy so she could enjoy her visit. Thank you so much Dr. Reese and Secily, Sandy, and everyone was so awesome!!! Thank you for your courtesy and hospitality!

I have my very first appointment today, I am very nervous I have a history of traumatic experiences with dentist/orthodontist. I had braces for 5 years as a teen and now I am 27 and need a very large amount of work done and insurance does not cover much so payment plans are my only option. I did ALOT of reading and researching and so far I have heard nothing but GREAT thing in regards to this practice. Not just in regards to how great they are with flexible payment plans but they are honest and upfront about your care and well being. "they will not try to give you the run around, they will go above

The office is great! They took the time to explain the process to my daughter before putting on her braces and how to care for them in such a great way! Whole staff and doctor are welcoming and relaxed! They planned to take extra steps in order to watch for shortening of my daughters roots and I feel confident in their treatment plan.

Dr. Reese and staff run a class A practice! They are very personable & upbeat. The low staff turnover rate allows the patient to feel connected to the staff. My son’s previous orthodontist has numerous offices which at times required going to different cities for appointments. Regardless of the office, you are one of many patients waiting for the orthodontist to stop by your chair for a 30 second progress glance. The experience was more akin to a DMV visit. If you prefer a high touch experience, Peninsula Orthodontics is the place.

The office followed strict protocol to ensure everything was clean. Temperatures were checked at the door and hand sanitizer was provided. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable to my eight year old daughter and me. I am active duty military and they do accept Tricare. Very military friendly as many of the staff are either retired or are military spouses. 10/10 would recommend. Very pleasant experience!

Dr. Reese and his staff are absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable with a great office environment. I never have trouble scheduling an appointment when I need to. Dr. Reese is great at explaining everything and really helped walk me through my treatment process to make sure I understood everything and that I would get the best result. All of the staff are always super sweet. He did such a great job with my Invisalign and I could not be happier! As an adult, I felt very comfortable in this office however it would also be great for any age! They are a very family friendly office. I
