Home Health & Hospice of Kansas is a locally owned, community-based home health and hospice provider. Home Health in Kansas is typically more cost efficient and more convenient than staying in a hospital or rehab facility. Whether in need of Nursing, Infusion Therapy, Wound Care, Physical Therapy or other in-home care, our clients can remain in the comfort of their home while they are recovering from a hospital stay, injury, or illness.
Our Care Plus Palliative service is patient & family-centered care that optimizes quality of life by anticipating, preventing, and treating signs & symptoms for those suffering from chronic or life-limiting illnesses. It is NON-HOSPICE Palliative care throughout the continuum of illness that involves addressing physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Hospice is a service provided to a patient to assist with care when they have an illness that could result in death six months or less if the disease follows its course. Many conditions can lead to death; this may include but not limited to cancer, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, end-stage dementia/Alzheimer's disease, and many others.

Home Health & Hospice of Kansas was recommended by the care home that my 87 year old mother was in for 3 weeks. She was in skilled nursing and had made some progress since her fall, but needed more help at home. The people we met and worked with were awesome, caring, and very helpful in getting Mom back to her independent, active self. I had broken my arm in March, 2019. I had reached out to home health and hospice to potentially help me while my family was away for a week during my recovery. As it turned out, a family friend ended up helping me.

Our whole hospice team was phenomenal! I'm a nurse and I know excellent care, compassion and service. My mother and all of our family was treated perfectly, skillfully and with up most compassion! They took my Mom's dry sense of humor in stride and she looked forward to their visits. I wouldn't wish the need for hospice on anyone, but if you do need it these professionals are who you want in your corner! Shout out to everyone on our team!
