My mother and I used to love going to Jackie's Galaxy in Johnston before Covid, then Hei place later took on the old restaurant and we still love it! The staff treats you like family from day one and once you become a regular its always such a treat when they show you how much they've missed you. 10/10 would recommend! P.S. You have to get the Fried ice cream it's to die for!!!<3

What an excellent Asian cuisine. The staff are all friendly and attentive. The food is always fresh made to order. Many items to choose off their large menu. Live in Greenville and this is the very best and closest Asian restaurant to us. I would travel further as the overall experiences are always pleasureable! The atmosphere is done with such great taste from the lighting to the decor and there's a full service bar with plenty of flat screens.

Just returned from picking up an order for four people placed last night in preparation for New Year's Eve. I waited in line for forty five minutes tonight to pick up my order and was told at the counter that it was never made. The order was lost. Not my first choice in Chinese food, but my family likes it. NEVER WILL RETURN THERE AGAIN! I'll keep my business at Bon Asian Grill down the road like I should have for tonight. Lesson learned.

I ordered the chicken finger, pork lo mein, pork fried and beef loc lack. Chicken finger was good but the rest of my order was disappointing. The food was a tad bit salty for my taste. However, the Lychee martini was amazing.

This place gets 3 out of 5 for cleanliness and a friendly staff. The bar is popular with the locals and they make decent cocktails. The sushi bar puts out some attractive looking rolls but I've never tried any because I'm picky about freshness. Their food is better than the immediate local (Atwood Avenue) competition, however this is Johnston RI, a rundown area where even average is hard to find.

Just ordered shushi and sashimi for takeout 10 minutes ago, It's gone. I've eaten shushi at just about every place in this state and I found this to be one of the best. I was going to post a photo but all thats left are empty containers.
Update: returned after reopening and found the sushi delightful. Revised again best local Asian cuisine IMHO

I was on a hunt for a place that had coconut shrimp/walnut shrimp and came across this place on my Google search. I checked out their menu and there it was. They also had Vietnamese beef soup/pho so I was thinking perfect! Because my boyfriend loves pho! If it's on the menu he is ordering it. Came in with the kids, got seated right away and ordered what we came here for plus appetizer sampler 1. What I ordered was okay and everything but here is the problem. The pho or beef soup that my boyfriend ordered was pretty disappointing. He even asked for hoisin and sriracha to help with the disappointment

The food and service have been spectacular. We haven't dined in but the remodel looks very nice and I really love the expansion of the menu. Glad to see fish tank is back! It took them a few weeks post re-opening but their website is updated and user friendly. We are hoping they offer delivery through Doordash in near future. I broke out of my comfort zone and I tried Nime Chow for the first time and it was so delicious!! Absolute fresh flavor! Then based on a recommendation I tried the Vietnamese traditional rice noodle soup, OMG it was so fresh, tasty, with a hearty broth, I'm addicted

Recently reopened and remodeled, Hei Place is back in business offering fresh, delicious Asian cuisine. The vegetarian nime chow (fresh spring rolls with rice paper wrappers served with peanut dipping sauce) and scallion pancakes (served with a light soy sauce) are excellent appetizers, with a well balanced mix of flavors. The Vegetables with Hot Basil (Thai Style) is a very flavorful entree, which was hot and spicy as requested. I recommend ordering a side of steamed rice with this dish, as well as a side of hot chili paste if you like extra hot and spicy. Friendly waitress. Comfortable seating

Ordered takeout for lunch, three lunch specials listed online as 7.25 each. On the website it says comes with soup so as I ordered I said "I'll get two hot and sours and a egg drop, they come with the special right?" I was told yes. I went to pick up my order and it was 41$!! I'm no mathematician but three 7$ lunch specials do not equal 40$. I questioned it and was told soups don't come with the lunch specials and their website hasn't been updated yet. Ok and then I noticed they rang up for 9change each, again i said your website says 7$and I showed them the page

This restaurant is incredible to say the very least !!!. Don't soak you in service fees like Noble House, the restaurant is spotless which leads me to believe the kitchen is clean. The food is hot and fresh and Awesome !!!! Best Asian Restaurant in Johnston !!! Even though they don't deliver, it is a small price to pay for excellent food you can trust!!

I think I've dined in this place once years ago but mainly grab takeout and boy is that business booming. I like that fact that your food is ready even before the quoted time (show up a little earlier). They are comparable to Jackys - in fact I think it used to be one.
I always get a mix between some maki sushi rolls as well as my favorite appetizer platter with Nime Chow, Lot and Crab Rangoon. They have a pretty good pad Thai as well. Surprisingly the bar gets pretty full at this place, even a bit on the loud side. I've been here a handful of times and the food always taste great. I haven't had a meal I didn't like. Huge portions, comfortable seating and an attentive staff. The rice and lo mein have a memorable taste. I recommend the octopus salad as an appetizer.

This is a solid Chinese restaurant in Johnston. We didn't dine in, we ordered take out and took it to my brother house. We ordered a pu pu platter, General Tso's chicken, lo mein, and a couple vegetable dishes.
Food was tasty. Beef teriyaki you can cut with a fork, dumplings, crab rangoon everything was fantastic. The prices were very cheap for the quality and the quantity of the food we bought. The lady on the phone (and I' assuming I met inside to pick up the order) was very friendly.

We frequent this restaurant because of the consistently high quality food at reasonable prices. We get takeout from here often and they do a great job with it.
I have had the seafood dishes many times and they have always been fresh. The sushi never disappoints and I am choosy about where I eat sushi. They are very careful about allergies if you inform them.
Our favorites are the Tom Yam soup, Nime Chow, Bon Hoi, Bee Bong, Shrimp with Lemongrass and various types of Sushi. The lunch specials are excellent values, served until 3pm.
Hint: Go for the scorpion bowl
