Maybe the staff was having an off day but this might be the worst Japanese food I've ever tasted. We ordered some basic rolls (California, tuna) and they tasted like they came from a grocery store. The ramen is PLAIN and had ZERO flavor. It tasted like a watered down packet of $1 Maruchan, The egg was over-boiled and the wrong type of egg. It didn't have that nice juicy orange center. The flavorless broccoli confused me. I knew the food was bad when I wanted to save room in my stomach for popcorn at the movie theater after dinner. The service was good but the food gets a hard pass.

WE DEVOURED EVERYTHING!!!! love their omakase platter, great for 2 people to share. The beef short ribs were cooked perfectly, we could’ve definitely ate like 4 plates of just those. To end our meal, the fried green tea ice-cream was a cherry on top. Our server was very sweet and the experience was amazing.

Who knew Federal Hill had more than just Italian food!!! It was my first time at Nami and I already can't wait to go back! First of all our waiter was so nice and friendly and let us take our time. We ordered appetizers, sushi, ramen and the chicken teriyaki. The appetizers were delicious and they give you a great portion of food. For sushi we ordered one of the special rolls for the night and it was my favorite roll. The rolls were big and they all tasted very fresh and delicious. The ramen and chicken teriyaki were big portions and tasted delicious, we definitely had some leftovers! I would

Absolutely in love with their food! Portions were quite big and the place was just a whole vibe! Their sushi, especially their Ichiban roll was not only delicious but also super instagram worthy! Their New York steak was also not bad, came with a side of fried rice which was really nice! Their yakiudon was amazing! Whatever sauce they put was just to die for! Every single plate was cleaned to the t before being taken by the servers.
Perfect for dates or even big hangouts considering they had quite a large private dining place.

Solid 4.5 stars. As far as sushi places go in PVD, this is probably one of the best. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. We ordered a couple special rolls, pork buns, and an assorted sashimi appetizer. The rolls tasted great. Lots of fresh fish, good seasoning, not too sweet. Definitely recommend the Pink Lady roll for something fresh with salmon, and the Ichiban roll, which was warm and had soft-shell crab. The sashimi was delicious and very fresh.
The pork buns were the only non-amazing item, maybe needed some extra sauce/topping to spruce it up. Would definitely

Went with 10 of my friends to celebrate a birthday. We were sat in the back private room at a table for 10. Then, the manager/owner?? came and simply said "Are you from the college? You have to get out. You have to leave NOW." We were obviously very confused as to why and what was wrong but she just kept saying that we had to leave because there are restrictions and can only sit 8 people at a time. However, I had made the reservation a week in advance and never heard anything from them. Finally, one of us said "can't we just sit at separate tables instead of having to leave

Quality eats. Whether you want sushi, salad, soup, good appetizers , you will find something yummy. The sushi is very fresh and the eel sauce is banging. One reason I give just 4 stars is because the rock shrimp is not your typical rock shrimp in that it's very fried and the sauce comes on the side as supposed to being coated on it. Other than that it was a great takeout experience at Nami that satisfied our sushi craving.

We ordered takeout from Nami the other night. Even after our 30+ minute drive home, everything still tasted like it had been just made. The sushi was very fresh and high quality. We also ordered the crab Rangoon, seaweed salad, and miso soup. I'm a big fan of crab Rangoon in general but was a little surprised and disappointed that Nami puts Parmesan cheese on top of their crab Rangoon. To be completely fair, their menu does list Parmesan cheese as one of the ingredients but I clearly wasn't paying close attention. They also put little neck clams in their miso soup which I found odd. In

Nami is my go to for sushi in Providence. I would never think to go to Federal Hill for sushi but don't let that stop you!
They have a small parking lot but I usually park on Broadway and walk over. The inside is dimly lit but it's a big restaurant. There are booths and tables.
I always start with the Lychee Martini. It is one of my favorite martinis in Rhode Island. The drinks are always strong and flavorful. I've tried a few different ones but I always go back to the Lychee Martini.
Their menu is huge since they are a sushi and steakhouse. I'm tempted to try the whole menu

Picked Nami on a whim has they had reservations open on open table. It did not disappoint! Atmosphere was nice, our server was so friendly and sweet and everybody else we interacted with with was very nice as well. All the sushi we had was incredible, so fresh tasting. Had an appetizer of crab rangoons that were also really good. I would definitely recommend coming here as everything was solid from service to food.

Sushi here is absolutely delicious! I had the passion roll as well as salmon avocado and spicy tuna crunchy rolls. All three were great and tasted very fresh. I also got the whiskey samurai drink which was good. The waiter was friendly and service was quick. I sat outside on the sidewalk and had a great view of the sunset. Would recommend.

Our waiter Nick was phenomenal. He was very attentive and didn't make a mistake with anything. We loved him! The sushi was very fresh, the oysters were on point, and the Nami bowl for two tasted great! A must try if you haven't been here before

I went there for the first time with a friend and sat at the bar and was treated to a great meal and really great service. I had the opportunity to take some photos because it was a Wednesday night of the restaurant. I did have a dragon ball, which is lobster wrapped in avocado. I also had the shrimp and the fried oysters- each one Tasted really good. The bartender was fantastic she was pleasant and smiling the entire time, it made us feel right at home. Definitely a date place.

We came here for lunch on Saturday. The interior decor is impressive. A more higher end Japanese restaurant than what I was expecting. Placemats, cloth napkins, top shelf liquor and I spy a bottle of Caymus by the bar.
We were not that hungry since we've been walking around and sampling from a variety of different restaurants around town. The shrimp/veggie tempura was great! The order came with 4 pieces of shrimp and a variety of asparagus, sweet potatoe and they even included broccoli for my daughter.
The agedashi tofu was good - the sprinkling of sesame/seaweed on top was a nice touch

Came here for Valentine's Day dinner with no reservation. Only waited about 15 mins.
The table we were seated at was a giant square table that had about 5 other couples at it at one point, which I obviously did not love but also, we didn't make a reservation so I wasn't mad with the table situation.
Service wasn't the fastest but our server was very nice and did a great job. While things did take a while, he did check up on us throughout the wait to make sure we were comfortable.
Appetizer:
Crab Rangoon - good nothing crazy. The ratio of cream cheese to crab seemed a bit

Sushi was pretty average. Service felt slow. Nothin really to love about this place from me. Just kinda felt like an average place. If you’re into vibes more than actual food, you might enjoy the trendy bar feel (they serve $20 colorful drinks to share in big bowls). But if you’re actually into delicious sushi, I’d say try somewhere else.

Do yourself a favor and order the sashimi here, it was phenomenal and a truly memorable meal. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was great too, no views but a comfortable clean and odourless setting fit for the impeccable dishes served up. I cannot stress enough how delicious everything was.
