Where is the 0 option? What kind of garbage company thinks over 4000 dollars for OFF SEASON at ocean city is even in the realm of normal when the condo rentals for a week were 1000-1500, you're all insane. A place like this can't go out of business fast enough.

DO NOT RENT FROM TurnKey or Vacasa!
We spent 9 nights on the big island in Hawaii in November, 2021. While We had no issues with the property(condo was nice enough-see my review on VRBO), the TurnKey/Vacasa group was unprofessional and horrible to deal with.
The shower head in the second bathroom broke and flew off of the wall mount into the back of our daughter's head! Imagine if that had hit her face! Surgery would have been required! She had a headache, huge bump on her head and we missed two days of activities due to the discomfort. It took two days to get maintenance in to repair

Never rent from these people. Once they have your money they no longer care. 4pm check in NO MATTER what. Had us wait six hours for a room that was unoccupied even though you pay for the whole day. Traveled with an individual that is handicapped, absolutely no ADA compliance at the facility at all. They do not care one star is too much.

My husband and I rented a room in Nashville earlier this year. I have never been in a place more indescribably filthy. The towels weren't changed and covered in black dirt or grease. The bathroom floor looked like it had never been cleaned. The was hair and dirt all over the tile. You would have needed shower shoes, because there is no way you would have wanted to walk in there barefoot. The kitchen was dirty, all the floors had crud on them. The bedroom...I was afraid I would leave with some communicable disease or bed bugs. We left and had to pay extra for a last minute hotel room, and couldn

Be very careful with this company. I booked a lovely property in San Diego back on November 10th for the week of Christmas. Last night at 9pm I get a text that my reservation was cancelled. No explanation whatsoever. I sent an email to the company last night and this is what I got this morning:
"Thank you for your email! I apologize for the inconveince but this reservation did not go through on our end because those dates are not available. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns."
Now mind you, that was AFTER I sent them a scathing email. Without that I

10th wedding anniversary trip ruined when Vacasa sent us a text cancelling our stay WHILE WE WERE DRIVING to our rental. First got a welcome text with lockbox codes, then 10 minutes later got a text saying trip was cancelled and the property was under construction. Customer service was unable to give any details other than there was "an ongoing construction project" that had not completed. We booked 7 months in advance and Vacasa didn't even notify us in time to make alternate arrangements. Wrote customer service asking for an explanation, never got a reply. They could

Do not do business with them. The condo we stayed in was nice enough, but we had an issue while we were there with plumbing and called to report it... the local person was not available so we had to call their corporate office. They didn't follow up with us all day or let us know what was going on... We had to call them to find out what was going on and the water literally ran in the condo all day long. Finally we got it to stop and cancelled the maintenance request because it took so long. Then when we checked out we forgot an item, and called about it within 12 hours of checking out. They

Renting with Vacasa turned into an utter disappointment! Checked in to what was supposed to be a week long stay at a property in DE (19 Sycamore St - Bear Trap Dunes) and found it disgusting. The home looked as if we had arrived in the middle of someone else's stay. There were dirty linens left on the porch, the home was FULL of dust, the tubs were filthy. One filled with what looked like black mold. Crumbs left in the refrigerator, the coffee maker not cleaned with a leftover pod. Lighbulbs needed replacing. Dirty and torn shower curtains. A broken lock on an exterior door that the

First, the toilet flooded and sprayed water all over me TWICE. We fixed the toilet. Second, the sliding glass door handle came right off in my hands. Again, we fixed that. You're welcome. Third, the sliding glass door did not lock leaving the house open the entire week. Fourth, none of the tv's worked upon arrival. The next day or two, some worked, not all of them and not correctly. Fifth, the skylight leaked wetting guests' belongings overnight. Sixth, it took the refrigerator 24 hours to cool, not the four they stated it took, and Seventh, the light in the bedroom did

I rented through VRBO last year at same resort and had a fantastic experience.
Start with the positive..I invited family and friends to stay in 3bdr house, holds up to 8. I'm so glad they had other plans. So just me, daughter and 2 1/2 yr old Dachshund.
House was dingy...okay..carpet heavily stained with ? dog pee, everywhere..not ok. A Gritty, sandy dirt on my barefeet.
So I headed for closet to find a filthy canister style vacuum cleaner. Fortunately it worked, but the

We have stayed in this home in Neskowin on Hawk Street Rain or Shine) several times. However, after this last trip... We would not recommend this house or Vacasa!! We arrived to find this house dirty, trashed, items were broken & stained! (see attached pictures) Immediately we reached out to Vacasa upon arrival, yet no one returned our call.
We called the next day & had to talk to several people to try to get things remedied. Dealing w/ Vacasa was a horrible experience. The vacuum in the house was broken & we requested a new one. Once they brought a new one & we used it, we filled

Update: Whatever B.S comment they just replied is false. A credit of my cleaning fee and 10% off a future stay with the company is CRAP. Not even close to acceptable. Check out the BBB reviews, it says it all
I have been literally fighting with them since the morning of our check in (7/3/21), they to date.. have still repeatedly closed out my ticket for contact back, without ever even contacting me to sincerely offer any type of apology or real remediation for any hardship we encountered during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.

I am VERY disappointed in Vacasa Vermont. The description in the ad and actual home differ greatly. The main issue is the terrible communication of the management company and lack of knowledge about the home and current condition. The house really needs a thorough spring cleaning not just a quick "make ready for next guest" clean and some major repairs. The house was supposed to have a dock and Vacasa did not know it had been removed. They are CLUELESS about the properties they are renting.

They cancelled our beach house less than 48 hours before our trip was to begin. Saying the property was no longer available. The 'relocation' team then told us there was ZERO availabilty at any property on the eastern seaboard. They were kind enough (sarcasm) to offer my money back ($8000+) but were unable to find us another location or reimburse us for deposits on fishing charters and other excursions. The 10 person trip, including folks travelling from all over the US (one coming from NY) had to be cancelled all travel cancelled with nothing more than an "WE APOLOGIZE for the INCONVENIENCE

Unprofessional in maintaining our unit. They neglected the basic maintenance and shoddy workmanship, for example using plastic ties in florescent green to mount the curtain rods. They installed the replacement dishwasher so that it stuck out and was crooked. They also refunded the guest for part of the stay because the dishwasher malfunctioned but did not get authorization from owner.
Beware and choose another reputable company to maintain your investment!!
So dissatisfied and disappointed with Vacasa.

Made the reservations 3 months ago. About an hour before my family was set to check in at 4pm, I get a text message stating that the house we rented was no longer availale. We traveled a long way with two children. A birthday present for the eldest. A weekend at a rental with fishing nearby, a pool, basketball court, tennis courts, a river on walking distance etc. The house was carefully picked out to celebrate our son's 16th birthday. They texted one hour before check in to let us know that the home was no longer available. Both of the kids were anxious and devastated. We were far from home

After a long wait, it appears they did have our quilt after all. Someone had picked it up and removed it from the property and washed it. I was told that they put it in the inventory stack for items that are kept for that rental.
A very competent individual was persistent in trying to find the quilt and was able to track it down in the nearby office. They notified us that it was being returned to us shortly.
My wife is extremely happy to have this family treasure back and I was saved from years of torment of being reminded that I didn't pack it when we left the rental.
This aside I can

I think Vacasa App is my new vacation so rental app. Reason why:
Pricing: After searching on Airbnb and VRBO I found Vacasa's pricing WAY better. Airbnb was about $100 more and VRBO was $30 more... for the same unit and dates.
Customer Service: Woah. Mitch the local management person in Washington (maybe Bellevue since that's where we are staying) literally called me from his cell and informed me of an update to the rental. He was incredibly easy to talk to and so helpful. He's available via text and super responsive.
