Our patients receive a truly unique dental experience at our office. We will provide you too with the highest quality dental experience. Our patients range from local Pinehurst and Southern Pines, NC, natives, to all across Moore County. We offer all aspects of general dentistry, as well as cosmetic dentistry and implants.
I highly recommend Dr. Laura Wellener and her team. Our family is always greeted warmly, given thorough examinations with helpful suggestions and explanations of conditions and options. Great, friendly atmosphere since our first visit 7 years ago. Everyone was wonderful! As a new patient, I was warmly welcomed and felt I had made a good choice.

My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with the dental care we’ve been receiving from Wellener Dental since we moved to the Pinehurst area more than seven years ago. The office is incredibly well managed, the dental hygienists are highly skilled, and Dr. Laura is quite simply the best dentist in Moore County. After every appointment, I’ve always left their office feeling that they truly care about me and my overall health, and that I’ve received the most thorough, state-of-the-art and compassionate care possible.

This has been our family's dental practice for many years. Everyone who works there is fantastic, and the level of customer care is top-notch. I have sensitive teeth and they always take good care of me! Our kids have gone here all their lives, rather than to a dedicated pediatric dentist, and they've always received excellent care as well. Happy to recommend!

I just finished having a crown placed by Dr. Wellener, with the expert assistance of Tracy. I have never had an easier or better experience in a dental office. Dr. Wellener and every member of the team has been professional, highly competent, kind, supportive, relaxed and friendly, which has been my experience with each visit I’ve made there. I feel so grateful for and appreciative of the outstanding care (also from hygienist extraordinaire Christina) always provided in a warm, welcoming and comfortable environment. My husband and I have been patients of this office — Dr. Wellner and previously Dr. Baucom since 2006 and have never had cause for complaint.
The front office staff are always friendly and helpful. The dental technicians kind and knowledgeable. And, Dr. Wellener gentle, up to date, and, like her staff, always friendly.

Hands down, the best dental office you will ever find! Everyone is so sweet and they always make me feel like I am really cared about, and not just a patient. My teeth are super sensitive and problematic so to speak, and I always receive excellent dental care. When you have complete trust in your dental care and look forward to seeing the staff, it makes a dental visit a pleasant experience!!

This office continues to shine after five years of being their client. I began going there in 2016 after moving to the Fort Bragg area and left in 2019 when I left for Germany. Within three weeks of returning to the states this year I had already had my office visit.
You know it's a good office when the dentist, the health technicians, as well as the office staff have a constant great attitude over a five year period.

Dr. Wellener, is an ultimate professional. Great diagnosis and great knowledge of Dentistry. Highly recommend her and all the staff. Must acknowledge my Hygienist Christina, who has brought my teeth back to health and always is careful and attentive to my needs. Office Mgr. Tonya, is also the best for advice and recommendations on anything of concern to the patient, she is a treasure. We are lucky to have these outstanding people here.

Dr. Wellener is the first dentist that did not tell us that we needed to schedule appointments to replace every filling in our mouth and that we needed multiple crowns in the amounts from $4500-$8000 right after our very first cleaning appointment in her office. I have great respect for her for that. Her feeling is ‘let’s not fix what ain’t broke’. We’ve been clients for a few years now and other than cleanings we only address an issue when one arrives which has been very very few. Leads us to think that other dentists in the area that we’ve tried are only out

I do not do reviews and never to say anything unkind. But if this might save someone grief, I feel it is worth it. Dr. Wellener filled a tooth a couple years ago that she initially wanted to pull. She did a terrible job and I just had to have a crown put on it because she left such a big gap, my gum was affected. She never offered the solution of a crown. I told her not to pull the tooth. Then recently, she recommended a crown on a tooth I didn't feel needed one. I lost confidence in her and switched. Do not use her. There are many more qualified dentists to choose from. I hate writing a negative

No confidence in this dentist. She did a filling for me. Said I needed it. Although I had no problems, I trusted her and she did it. Not even 6 months later I was told I needed a filling in the same tooth. So either she didn't do it at all, or it wasn't done correctly. And of course insurance wouldn't pay for the second go round. She refers you constantly. Not sure what exactly she does. But she won't be doing anything for me again.

The staff at Wellener dental is fabulous! Gina, the hygienist did the most thorough cleaning I've ever had!! I did not feel rushed... Dr. Wellener's exam was very thorough as well. She and Gina took the time to explain everything they had done and suggestions for prevention of future potential problems. Both were also very personable...I highly recommend this office!!!
