We originally booked a cabin for 3 nights with Agate Bay Properties through Airbnb but due to the Lake Tahoe fires, evacuations, and shutdowns, could not make our reservation. Sean was professional, understanding, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire situation.
With the tons of horror stories of hosts putting money above ethics and visitors, working with Sean and Agate was a breath of fresh air and very much appreciated. Would book again 10/10.

Beware of renting the Bagley cabin at 5754 Victoria Road in Carnelian Bay. Had a big problem dealing with the property manager Sean, but according to him the bigger issue lies with the owner who decides what compensation you get after a bear breaks into your rental. I had booked this property for 5 nights at the end of August, which is dog friendly as well, and we had a bear break into the house in the middle of the night thru a half open window. This area is no stranger to bears, as all the houses have bear boxes for the trash to go in and it is not recommended to leave food in your car since
