If you are ready to begin the Accreditation process, you will first need the CAHC Accreditation Manual. Non-medical, basic supervision, and socialization services provided by unlicensed, and non-certified personnel that do not include hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, and that are provided in the individual's home.

Services centered around activities which many take for granted until illness, age, or an accident make performing them difficult. All provided by state licensed and certified homemaker-home health aides. Skilled nursing services are only provided by registered professional nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs).
Services
The Commission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC) has been setting the standards for quality home care services since 1986. CAHC is proud to be dedicated to home care providers in delivering the highest standard of service to our local communities and families. We bring in-depth knowledge of state legislation, rules and regulations, and share ongoing collaborative relationships with state home care governance authorities.
I highly value the opportunity to share my experiences with CAHC through this medium. Our office is very appreciative of the tremendous amount of support we have received from their staff since we began this challenging venture in the health care industry. There are so many demands in this business, that it would have been impossible to overcome the challenges without the continuous collaboration with CAHC.
CAHC's Accreditation Program is all about value; value that no other accrediting body can give you. Whether your business model is Private Pay, Managed Care or Medicaid, CAHC will guide and mentor you every step toward your accreditation while empowering your staff with distinct competencies to sharpen your competitive edge.
One of the greatest benefits of CAHC accreditation is our on-going educational commitment to you. CAHC offers Educational Workshops and Programs presented by our staff and home care industry experts specifically designed to empower your staff with greater knowledge, give your firm that competitive edge, and enable better preparedness overall for your operational success.
The following webinars are intended to provide you with information about CAHC Accreditation Standards, as well as certain key components of accreditation and home health care operations. Some of the webinars are live versions whose recordings have been edited to naturally remove all references to clients, client names and client questions.
