With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Steven Bilon is a Charlotte Eye Doctor that you can trust. He has practiced in Charlotte since his graduation from Ohio State University in 1984. Dr. Bilon is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina State Optometric Society. He provides top level diagnostic and treatment using the latest in state-of-the-art technology.

Here at The practice of Dr. Steven E. Bilon, we are dedicated to helping patients with computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is relatively new. It refers to eye problems associated with the prolonged use of computers and electronics that use a digital screen. Although it can be temporary, there are times when it can strain your eyes to a degree that permanently affects your vision.

My daughter and I had to switch eye doctors because we moved here a year ago. We were used to going into an awesome doctor at Wills Eye - 2nd in the nation so I didn’t think I would find anyone that would come close to the care we were used to receiving. I let that go and searched after reading reviews and we visited. He was hands down the best exam I have ever had!! He was easy going and informative. I left with no questions, and we will be returning.

Extremely detailed in his approach. Makes sure that he explains everything he sees, including your current state and where he sees your vision going forward. Very attentive and clear. He showed me things other optometrist would never take the time to explain. Great practice and great physician. Highly recommended. I learned things about my eyes here I never was aware of. Very pleased.

I had to switch eye drs because I move . My old office had very trendy glasses but the office staff wasn't very personable. Dr Bilon and his staff were great! Friendly, cheerful, and I actually had a fun time while getting a thorough eye exam. On top of that, they had many new styles of eyeglasses and the lady who helped me was patient and seemed to love helping patients express their style! I reccomend this office!

I absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Dr Steven Bilon's office. From the moment I stepped in, to the moment I left, I received exceptional service. The staff was very friendly, warm, attentive, and made me feel like family. In addition to that, Dr. Bilon is just an exceptional practitioner. His exam was very thorough, and he explained down to the smallest detail of all the findings so I could understand what was going on.
I am someone who is very detail oriented and have my little nuances that can really turn me off, and I must say that I had no complaints here. I see myself

Considering lasik surgery and called a view doctors in the area and out of the 4 I called the receptionist for Dr Bilon was my favorite. Very friendly, clear, patient and most importantly knowledgeable of the process. Worked with me to set an appt that worked with both my work/school schedule. Pre-Screening appointment set for 1/30/18.

Appointment was quick - didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes to see the doc. I was offered coffee upon arrival and staff was very friendly. Doc Bilon was awesome. Scheduling the appointment was super easy. Have already recommended this place to my colleagues. Will definitely return for next eye exam.

Went to him last year and came back to him again this year. That should be enough alone. He truly cares and knows what he is talking about. I enjoy going to him because I learn so much about my eyes. Ran into an issue with my contacts and he continued to help me until we figured out how to fix it. Highly recommend

Dr. Bilon and his staff are very professional, caring and conscientious. I always get a very thorough exam and never feel like he is rushing. He is very good with my children during their eye exams. After seeing 3 other optometrists over the last 4 years, I was pleasantly surprised by how Dr. Bilon really listened to me! He has a wonderful casual yet informative way of discussing your eyes. I have been going to Dr. Bilon for close to two decades. This alone should speak volumes of my confidence in his ability. Dr. Bilon and his staff are extremely detailed and take their time with you during a visit. You will never feel rushed through an appointment.
I have had some major issues with my vision (detached retina in both eyes as well as cataracts). Dr. Bilon directed me to specialists in the region who not only repaired my eyes, but worked with Dr. Bilon to make sure that my ongoing vision is better than 20/20. Dr. Bilon also has corrected vision, so he understands how frustrating
