At Hahn Eye Center, each member of our vision care team is selected by our doctors based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients. Our entire optometry staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient.
The knowledgeable staff at Hahn Eye Center is experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.
Dr. Andrew Hahn has been practicing Optometry in the surrounding Charlotte area for 37 years. His practice is dedicated to providing excellent vision and eye care for the entire family. Dr. Stephanie Hahn is a 2013 graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Prior to attending optometry school, Dr. Stephanie graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
The doctors and the Hahn Eye Center team take even routine eye exams very seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement, and an eye health evaluation. Our optometrist will discuss any additional testing that may be required to diagnose an eye disease or condition.
At Hahn Eye Center, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. Corrective lens evaluations and prescription management are provided by our optometrist. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, the doctor will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle.

Beware- unethical insurance billing. Eric the office manager and eye glass fitter @ Dr. Hahn's office in Matthews billed my insurance for my sons RX glasses before I ordered my sons glasses. I did not give him authorization to bill my insurance. He quoted me a price on 12/3 of $426.01 and said he would check to see what our insurance would cover and call me. I agreed to see what they would cover. In the mean time I shopped online and found the same glasses; frames, polycarbonate lenses, all the same specs for $135 without insurance. I called on 12/9 and asked Eric if he would price match, he said

If I could give a zero star I would. I recently went there with my son for a contact fitting (which should not take longer then 20 mins) we were there about an hr. First of all we were told by the staff when we called to order contacts that our son would need to come in to get fitted for the monthly contacts. Why ask all the question over the phone if you are not going to chart it in the patients chart? Does not make sense to me. The doctor not knowing she just did what was already on his chart. I recently suffered from a very strange viral infection, which now I believe to be a side effect from Covid. This unfortunately happened the day after a Christmas, and they were not open. I called their office in hopes of catching the voicemail to an emergency number / service, which there was not. What kind of medical institution does NOT offer an emergency line?!?! Do not go here!! Lax mask/covid policies!!
For a medical doctor's office, I was very dissatisfied with this facility. In this era, I expect universal mask wearing at ANY doctor's office, so no surprise when I got the attached text message (stating masks are required).
In reality this office is sadly quite hypocritical because over two recent appointments in the last two months, I witnessed multiple employees not wearing, taking on and off, and wearing masks under the nose, etc. This was not one staff member or one moment -- it was clearly a lackadaisical culture throughout the office towards

I recently visited Hahn Eye Care Center. This was my first time being seen by the senior Dr. Hahn. I especially appreciated his knowledge, friendly conversation and professionalism. He made a very cost effective decision for my eye care and condition. Most doctors are too busy to assist a patient with making the best decision for a patient's bucks. Not Dr. Hahn. They were awesome. The ladies at the front desk were super nice and got me in right away. Dr. Stephanie was awesome and worked with me on my contact fitting since it had been awhile since I've worn them. Check out was awesome and fast I was in and out of the appointment in no time, but it felt like they meet and exceeded all of my vision needs.

I have gone to Dr Hahn for over 14 years, he my estimation he is a constant professional. You will find from the minute enter to practice the front desk lady is very courteous.
