The air conditioning unit in your vehicle operates similarly to a refrigerator. Your vehicle's air conditioning unit is designed to move heat from the inside of your car to outside of it. The refrigerant carries heat. In modern cars, refrigerant is a substance called R-134a. Older cars' refrigerant is called r-12 freon, which is more expensive and difficult to find than R-134a.
Your vehicle's axles are vital to keeping you safe on the road. They are just as important as other safety devices on your vehicle, such as brakes and tires. Axles bear all of your vehicle's weight. They connect its wheels and help drive the vehicle. In most cars, the axles are an essential part of the steering system, working with power steering fluid and other components to ensure smooth turning.
Your vehicle's battery is the source of electrical currents necessary to start the engine. The battery provides power to your vehicle's accessories and electrical parts; it allows them to operate even when your vehicle's engine is not running. Additionally, components such as your engine and starter rely on the battery for power; they cannot run without a properly functioning battery.
Brakes are pretty much the most important safety device on your car. If you've ever partially lost your brakes in the past, you'll agree that it's not something you want to experience again. Inspecting your brakes twice a year for wear and damage can protect you and your passengers. Additionally, it will also help save you money by catching any damage before it becomes too costly.

Outstanding work, honest people. Had a small incident when having tires put on after market wheels. They went above and beyond to solve it.

Super courteous staff. Fair pricing for services. Up front on estimates. Quick service completion. Honest establishment that you don't feel stressed out about visiting like many other shops. Overall A+ and that is why we are repeat, loyal customers and will spread the word. We've used Lakeside multiple times. Getting work done on cars can be stressful with so many shady places out there. Thus far we've had nothing but positive experiences and if we need work... we know what to expect from Lakeside.

Went there for a second opinion on my brakes. The first place said I needed rotors, calipers and brake pads. They only said I needed brake pads in the back and smoothed out the rotors I had so I didn't b end new ones so they saved me $600.00.

This is a great Auto repair shop. I had extensive work done on a 2006 Dodge Caravan. Tune-up, brakes, transmission slipping, muffler, etc. Nothing was done that was not needed. When I picked up the car, it ran like a top! Very professional, courteous, and work was done in a timely fashion.

Great prices and very knowledgeable. Had a lot of problems with my Suburban from electrical to intake manifold gasket. I travel for work so I don't have time to fix it myself and these guys are the only one I trust.

They charged $83 to run a diagnostic test. They just wrote down some codes w/out even letting us know what the codes meant or what is wrong so we can fix the problem. A waste of time & money.
