This is was amazing experience for us during our travels from Pensacola. Excited to get a great culinary experience minus all the tourist-infiltrated areas just a few miles away.

The owner went out of his way to give my wife and I a wonderful experience! Every plate was amazing and the best baklava I've ever eaten. The best restaurants we've been to! Try the caviar!!

Spending time in Gatlinburg for Thanksgiving from Pa. My daughter flew in from Utah to be with us. We drove past Red Oak Bistro on the way to our cabin. We were lucky to get a 5 o’clock reservation. What a fantastic find!!
The owner was charming, his wife the chef is fantastic and our waitress took fantastic care of us. It was the perfect night out. Beautiful inviting decor, wonderful plates to share! Hope to come back someday!

A quaint little European style bistro with a decent wine list and lovely assortment of small plates - not many to choose from but the three we selected were outstanding. Smoked salmon with dill aioli and capers, Mediterranean style flatbread with ground beef and spices and a spanakopita style roll with yummy yogurt sauce. Start off with the French Mimosa - Chambord and champagne - then switch to a delicious wine - Caymus was on the list but I couldn't drink an entire bottle so I ordered a couple reds by the glass. Really lovely atmosphere and the food was so so good!!

Reviews are spot on.
We've been here a week and ROB has been by far the best place we've dined at. Charcuterie, cheese board, Moussaka, Mediterranean flat bread were delicious. Baklava was a pleasure to eat as it was so moist a fork was not needed. One of the House special alcoholic drink - Old Fashioned was fine but could have been made with the traditional single large ice cube rather than crushed ice. Ambiance was relaxing. Music selection was well chosen. Lastly I can't say enough about Mike the proprietor who charmed us throughout our stay. I suspect Mike's wife was slaving

Found this gem when looking for someplace special to dine one night on a solo hiking trip. The owners did it all on a busy weekend evening while remaining attentive, friendly, informative, and funny! I chose to sit at the bar and so glad I did. The only server Lily, in addition to the owner, was also wonderful and they all made me feel at home in a chic yet welcoming bistro in the mountains. But you read reviews for the food so...it was exceptional! I had two tapas plates, the banitza and the smoked salmon-both delicious! They helped me select a perfect wine to pair and the chocolate walnut

What an experience! Very welcoming and homey. We came to celebrate our anniversary and it was wonderful! The wine & food was phenomenal. Our waiter gave us great suggestions and you could tell he wanted us happy with our selection. Great guy with good intentions. The staff went above and beyond. Will definitely be coming back to visit again when we are back in the area. If I lived near by, this would be our date night spot!

Excellent place to dine. The owner is a great host. Food is wonderful and a great atmosphere. Nothing better in Gatlinburg. We have been here 4 times in lat 4 years. Always a great dining experience and away from the crowds. Nice outdoor patio.

Red Oak Bistro is a quiet, relaxing restaurant and a nice place to spend an evening in Gatlinburg. The food was generally quite good, although in my opinion overpriced for what it was. For two people we spent a little under $100 on food, excluding drinks, and at that price point there's room for improvement on menu creativity and execution.

On the night we went they had run out of a couple items, but there were still plenty of good options. My favorites were the beef flatbread and the squash; the only disappointment was the beet napoleon which I found underwhelming. It's worth

Tucked away high on a hill in Gatlinburg is this delightful tapas bistro with European influences. My husband found this place as we are on vacation in the area and it was our 26th wedding anniversary. Upon arriving, owners/operators/chef/wait staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The atmosphere was sophisticated, elegant yet warm and comfortable as a bistro in the mountains should be. There is absolutely no rushing here. Settle in for a lovely experience. Any option you choose on the menu will be delicious and plentiful for small plates. Everything is scratch made by owner/chef Olga who

Beautiful setting on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing while slightly up scale. The food was exceptional. We started with the baked brie puff pastry and also had the sweet potatoe shepherds pie and then finished with Baklava. Everything was delicious.
Just don't come in a rush as this is a more relaxed and hang out vibe rather than a dine and dash.

This place is the best! Yummy rotating/changing menu of tapas, appetizers, shareable plates & chef-made desserts. Amazing wine selection as well as a full bar.
Choose to sit inside or outside on the terrace... go with a group of friends or for a romantic dinner.
(I would expect to find this caliber of place in California wine country or a fancy neighborhood in Seattle or Chicago) Can't recommend enough! We may go back before vacation is over.

This place was the perfect place to wrap up a long weekend trip. My husband, I, and our 2-year old enjoyed a simple but delicious light meal on the patio. My 2-year old LOVED their hummus and pita, from their appetizer sampler. My husband and I enjoyed the sampler and a delicious flatbread with beverages. I thought the wine selection was excellent. The staff was kind, patient about our child, and helpful. We loved this place.

If you find yourself near gatlinburg, make sure you visit this place! Everything was perfect, from the ambiance, to the drinks to the food to the service. It's a small quaint restaurant serving a rotating menu of small plates and shareables. The perfect place for a date night or for us, an anniversary dinner.

Tapas are ordered as you go, so plan on spending a couple of hours here.

Reservations ahead of time are a must, they were not accepting walk ins the evening we were here.

We enjoyed the smoked salmon crostini, beet salad, foie gras, a spinach and feta pastry and dessert.

Nice ambiance. Didn't have reservations but got seated on patio which was nice. Expensive for tapas. $25 for flatbread pizza was high. Food okay. 2 beers and one glass of wine later =$70 including 20% tip. Doubt I would eat here again.

I had the best experience with my family ! Yes, I brought three kids here. The lovely man who I am guessing owner or manager, from Bulgaria, came over several times to compliment the children and said that he doesn't normally see children in the restaurant but was smiling big time when he saw they ate everything served and were well-behaved. That man fed my "mom ego" big time.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Manhattan and I hAd a French mimosa. Yum!

We had many tapas and devoured them all. The stuffed grape leaves were a hit, the salmon bruschetta was so Devine. The beet salad

Wonderful hidden gem on our visit to Gatlinburg. Wonderful tapas and fabulous wine menu. The beautiful owners shared their immigration story with us, their love story and their opening their doors stories. They talked about their community with love and smiles. The ambiance was so peaceful, we came back after our dinner reservation for a night cap glass. A must visit for wine lovers who don't drink "Tennessee" wine.

My husband and I were overwhelmed with the crowds in downtown Gatlinburg, it was as bad as the Texas State Fair on a Saturday, and with COVID still going on no less. Anyways, the Red Oak Bistro was pleasantly secluded, taking appropriate precautions, and had a great view nestled in a cute corner of the town. The food and wine was on the pricey side but everything we had was excellent and worth it. The service was also very good, overall would definitely eat here again over one of the pricey, touristy fine dining restaurants down town! For any picky eaters out there, the margarita flatbread was

We found this gem because we found ourselves in an out of the way lodging for the weekend. We stopped in Friday night for dinner and were pleasantly surprised to find that they had Foie gras on the menu. So of course that was one of the items that we ordered. Let me just say that it was over the top delicious. The second entree that we ordered was the "Kebabche". Neither of us had ever tried a Bulgarian dish. We fell instantly in love with its flavors. Coupled with a glass of Athena Pinot Noir made for a perfect evening.

The service was so personable and welcoming, that as we passed
