The Central Coast of California is a blessed region, naturally endowed with diverse microclimates that produce wines of exceptional power and density. Levo works to showcase the richness of our terroir while still maintaining delicate varietal specificity, electric acidity, immense tension, and perhaps most importantly a sense of levity or lift in the glass.
It is our belief that wine has an innate ability to elevate experience, whether that be a special moment with family, celebration or a fine meal. 2021 marks winemaker Bret Urness' 10th vintage. He continues to craft microlots in a warehouse located in Tin City, Paso Robles, California. His aim is to keep production low so he can personally shepherd each barrel along and maintain complete quality control.

We had an excellent experience at Levo. There's plenty of parking outside. I came here around lunch time on a friday and we were practically the only party to enjoy the place. They have a patio that can seat 8 people. But Im sure more than stand and hand out. Must try the 2019 petite sirah!

The wines and tasting experience at Levo are both absolutely phenomenal! We have never had a wine from Levo that we haven't liked (and we've had over 30 different cuvees from this winery). Levo wines are bold, plush and nuanced as well as ageable. The tasting room is fantastic as well. You may even be fortunate enough to have the owner/winemaker Bret Urness pour his wines for you.

I went in to taste and Bret, the winemaker and tasting room pourer, poured four great wines. Tasting vertically we had a very nice, not your Mom’s, Chardonnay that was bright, complex, from what I believe is some aging in concrete, and packed with a Bartley pear flavor. Then we did the rosé, which will be perfect in the summer and didn’t have that cheese funk on the nose that some rosés tend to have. The reds were great as well, but ended up buying the Chardonnay and Rosés. There was a $25 tasting fee that was credited towards my purchase. Bret was super cool and friendly and answered questions

We had such a wonderful time at Levo! The wines are fantastic, in fact so wonderful that both my friend and I joined the wine club! The tasting room is fantastic. We met the winemaker who is so humble and personable and the tasting room manager was incredible and knowledgeable. Our experience was fantastic and we will come back each time we are in Tin City!

A must see in Tin City! Great vibes in this cool space and the wine is even better. Wonderful to chat with Bret who is clearly one of the most passionate winemakers I have met. He is just thrilled to talk to you about wine and what goes into the whole process-very interesting and fun-makes the wine tasting even better to have such an enthusiastic teacher.
Although I know I should keep the bottles on the rack for a bit, it will be hard to do!!! Just wish I would have purchased more.

Levo was recommended to me by Pulchella wine out of Santa Clarita...(joey)...received my shipment this week...tonight opened a bottle. Was not disappointed! Levo and Pulchella .....2 wineries that "get it". Small, know how to make a great blend, super cool peeps, feels like family, so sorry the bottle is empty kinda wine. Just might need to open another

Come in for some great wine! This was our first stop in Tin City and what a great choice. We were greeted not only by staff but the wine tasters as well. We loved the Rose and the Syrah. Staff allowed us to leave our vehicle and also directed us to our next stop. We will be back for a bottle or two!

I can't believe I've never written a review of Levo. We love this place. Bret is the Best! Plus his wines are fantastic! I usually end up getting a case cause I can't decide what not to get.
This is a small non-corporate place. It is not mass market. And that's one of the things that distinguishes it from some others. Do check it out!

We live in Paso and this is one of our favorite places. We have been wine club members for about two years now. We always enjoy the tasting room staff and their knowledge about their wine. If you visit you will often find Brett, owner/winemaker either pouring or popping in to chat with visitors. Brett is super personable and passionate about his wine.
Currently pouring a great Rose that's perfect for the summer. My personal favorite are their Syrahs. The tasting room is located in Tin City and is dog friendly too.

We really liked their Rose!
The tasting room is nice and open.
There is just one bar, and a few tables inside but people are friendly, so just make some room.
The ladies pouring were very gracious and informative without being sales-y.
We paid for a flight and enjoyed the wine, the Dreamcruxher (spelling) series was fun. We loved the rose, and are not rose fans usually. But we actually bought a bottle and drank it the very next day we couldn't wait.
We'll go back again for sure.
Good prices, nice atmosphere, fun people to taste with.

Levo recently opened in Tin City. Decided to check it out based on a recommendation from the people at Epoch. Brett the winemaker was working the tasting room when we walked in along with Raleigh. The wines here or unusual as Brett sources all of his grapes from Santa Barbara but then creates Paso style wines.
The tasting consisted of five wine. One Rose and one Chardonnay and three reds. I believe the tasting fee was $10 but is waived with wine club membership The bottle labels are all really cool looking and I enjoyed most of their wines I'm not a huge Chardonnay fan so that was probably
