Salty Paws at 100 A Prominence 30A gets 1 star because 0 is not an option.
We arrived at 4pm for check in and our room wasn't cleaned yet. We were allowed to check in at 8 pm that night after waiting for 4 hours across the street at the over priced food court with our 16 month old.
After check in we found a bloody pillow, dirty dishes in the cupboard including one cup with a curly black hair in it.
The next day we found out that THE BEACH ACCESS IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS UNTIL JUNE 2022. This is the Deer Lake access .5 miles away. Panhandle Getaways didn't think this was an issue

Well, one year later, it took everything in me to return to this part of Florida. I sure did have to swing by Chelle's by the Sea just to see if anyone had unfortunately booked this spot. To my unbelievable surprise, it was vacant. Still prolly infested with bugs. I was truly shocked that it wasn't torched due to the gargantuan infestation. Yuck.

Stayed here for a week in July 2020. There are better places to stay in the 30A area as this particular property is a ways off the main beach / shopping areas.
The property has on site retail stores and dining (the Hub). Also provided an outdoor movie night which was a plus for families. This was a positive along with the pool on the property. The gym was pathetic as it included just a couple cardio machines and a weight machine in a room that could be described as the size of a walk in closet.
The house itself was in decent condition with plenty of room. The big downside we experienced

I give this place a 0 stars. Don't rent here! We had a spring break trip planned, but then due to Covid-19 we had to cancel. As a result they wouldn't give us our money back but instead a voucher. When we booked our voucher it was supposed to be this week. We were planning on leaving today, but they decide to tell us at 3 pm YESTERDAY that we cannot go anymore. We bought all of this food and had already packed up. This is ridiculous! My mom is a healthcare worker and has a very very tight schedule. She had to adjust her schedule for us to go this week and now it's wrecked. Very

I would like to just give everyone a warning before you consider booking here. I wouldn't make my worst enemy stay at PROMINENCE on 30-A!!!!!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY UNIT 12-C E York Lane!!!!!!!!!
Let's start with the basics- there is no beach access, do not let them fool you. Online it says We had to drive 15+ minutes to a public beach access area. So don't come here without a vehicle to trolly yourself around in. And don't stay here because the "HUB" is across the street because it's nothing special either and has awful hours.

I recently stayed here with family for a half-week vacation. Prominence on 30A is about five years old. It has condos that are freestanding homes and your typical condos with shared walls. We stayed in a home that was booked through Panhandle Getaways. Below are my pros and cons, which would explain why the property does not get all five stars.
Pros:
1. The property has on-site retail stores, bars, casual restaurants, and a swimming pool.
2. The house we stayed in was very spacious and beautifully decorated.

HUGE LIE - NO ACTUAL BEACH ACCESS! The team member selling you this vacation rental will say, "Beach Access is 5 minutes away." This is a flat out lie. If you are looking for a beach vacation stay somewhere else along the coast. This is LAND-LOCKED CONDO COMPLEX. My wife was entirely mislead while booking this rental. The rentals however are nice and brand new, but we have a pool and a nice house at home. Also, searching "Beach Bar" brings up "The Hub" - it is not located on the beach; not even on the correct side of the highway. Overall, the place is nice for a family
