I am NOT a resident. I was attracted by some COVID deals - advertised one-month free rent & some other waived fees. Submitted the $50 application fee. I was then charged $250 for the security deposit. I reviewed the lease and decided not to live here. I still haven't gotten my $250 back. Patricia Clark, Senior Leasing Specialist, in email said that I'd get my money back. Said it would take 45 days to be mailed. I followed up well after 45 days, no response.

People are quiet and friendly. Lot's of dogs so it's kinda cool. I find that the parking on the ramp in the garage is interesting. The garage compact parking is SUPER compact. Terribly hard to open doors sometimes especially if another car is parked there. Almost worth the extra $50.00 for the reserved spaces.

This comment is on the young lady that I spoke with on Saturday, and today (Sunday) at Bldg 1221. I believe her name is Jessie, or Jessica, but it was a real pleasure in speaking with her regarding the issue I had with a clogged sink. The problem I had with the clogging of my kitchen sink seemed like it would not get resolved until Monday, 27 September. She listened to my problem, and acted upon it. She showed true professionalism, and great customer service - she is a true credit to Aura Pentagon City. Please convey my sincere appreciation for her amazing professionalism, and her great customer

I have lived in the Meridian/Aura complex since February 2015 and recently renewed the lease for another year. I read some of the critical reviews. Although I agree with some to an extent, I basically think this building is a good value as long as you don't expect perfection.
There were some significant bumps between the changes in management companies and there were a number of issues that were ignored until the current team came on. One of the current managers, Brian Carter, has been outstanding in accommodating our needs in terms of the lease and getting a number of maintenance issues addressed

I moved in here mainly for the price and location. I wouldn’t say the place is perfect, but it’s pretty good. The negative aspects are: there’s a lot of construction around the building, and in the building itself. Because of this, access to the parking garage, gym, and lobby areas have been limited to residents at times. Also, the style of my unit is a bit outdated, with older appliances cabinets and lighting fixtures.

Lived here with a small family for 4+ years and loved our experience. Management is extremely easy to work with. Maintenance requests are handled swiftly. And the rent is very affordable. The complex is within walking distance to the metro, food shopping, restaurants, and running/jogging trails. Would HIGHLY recommend this place for singles, couples, or small families.
