Our three children have been going to World Martial Arts Academy for a few years. They are learning Shotokan karate, and Filipino martial arts (Arnis). The owners & staff are both very professional, respectful and highly skilled. They have a great balance in knowing how to encourage and help the students really excel. Our kids feel like they are part of a team. The environment is hard to beat - the staff sets the tone and other students (children, teenagers and adults) are friendly and encouraging. I notice the more experienced students are happy to share with the new students. I recommend

My son Jeremy has been attending World Martial Arts Academy for some time now. I couldn't be more impressed. The masters encourage respect, skills, refrain from violence, yet encourage personal growth and progression with patience for all skill levels. I appreciated the fact that they offered month to month lessons without committing to a year long contract if my son didn't take to martial arts. My son loves this Dojo. He is eligible for his green belt next month and looking forward to his future there. Thank you for teaching my son life long lessons and skills without pressure!

Great facility & instructors! Affordable and excellent private and small group classes. Krav Maga is a great method of self-defense for women, I feel safer after my lessons.

Just started lil' warriors and my son loves it. My older kids tried two different schools in our area and I like it here better than the other schools. I am excited to watch my son grow and learn from such a professional staff.

My 5 year old son joined for a 4 session test period back in September and enjoyed it so much that he told me he wanted to earn "all of the belts" that hang on the walls in the dojo.

Today was his first test and he passed (yellow-stripe belt/Little Warrior) and he is so happy about having us sign him up officially after the testing period.

Masters, Phil, Jake, Michael and others do a wonderful job with the 4-7 year olds known as Little Warriors. Obviously it can be tough keeping their attention and so classes are limited to 30-35 minutes and the time is very well spent teaching Karate

One thing that I really enjoy and appreciate about the school (Dojo) is the safe and meaningful learning environment. Where proper form and technique is stressed.

Master Phil is an excellent teacher, incredibly patient and very encouraging. His calm, supportive, down-to-earth demeanor creates an atmosphere of learning, self-improvement, and camaraderie.

Grandmaster Ribay's 50+ years of experience provides a depth of knowledge that is truly inspiring. His knowledge is an incredible gift to his students with whom he shares with every class.
