Dr. Klima and Dr. Toms have an outstanding team of experienced and friendly orthodontic assistants, and business and front desk personnel, as well as their own orthodontic laboratory technician who makes appliances, retainers, and clear aligners in the office.

Dr. Kevin Toms grew up in central Virginia. As a young teenager, having braces appealed to his mechanical interests. Watching the changes that occurred during his own treatment inspired him later to pursue a career in dentistry and eventually orthodontics. Dr. Toms graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences.
Dr. Klima and Dr. Toms believe that the first step to a healthier, more attractive smile is creating a trusting relationship with your orthodontist. Dr. Klima is an incredible professional with a conservative approach to orthodonture while still being at the forefront of the latest research. As a dental hygienist myself, I’ve entrusted all 3 of my children to his care without hesitation. His staff is warm and accommodating. When my oldest child transitioned, changing pronouns and his name, they adjusted so smoothly it was like he never identified any other way. Not only does Dr. Klima and his staff have my trust as a clinician and mother but they have my loyalty as really good people.

Excellent practice, Dr. Toms and Dr.Klima are the two best doctors I’ve ever had. They truly care about their patients and the success of the treatment. I would highly recommend them ,especially to those needing adult orthodontic work. My adult braces journey has been challenging but the work of Dr. Tom’s and Dr. Klima has been amazing so far , I can’t wait for the final results!
