If you're looking for a new optometrist or just a great optical center in general, look no further!! I was overdue for an eye exam, plus had new vision insurance, so did some research before booking my appointment with 20/20 Vision Center. Overall I had a great experience - and I'm very impressed with the pleasant and professional staff there.
For starters, Dr. Y was phenomenal!! He really took his time with me to provide a comprehensive exam, which I appreciated. (I've had other experiences elsewhere that felt "rushed", and that was definitely not the case with him.

What can say, an absolute delight experience I had from hello to goodbye it was most welcoming relaxing and professionalism
Staff was very pleasant I mean all and everyone was absolutely pleasant

We have been going to 20/20 Vision Center for over 20 yrs. Dr Vidal was who we saw then. He was always professional, courteous and knowledgeable. When we heard he was retiring we wondered if we'd be looking for a new eye center. After one appointment with Dr Y, we were relieved that we could stay at 20/20 Vision. Totally agree with others that the front desk is shady. i have had exams here for several years now & noticed these shady tactics. i called to reorder contacts & they told me i could not because my prescription had expired. i didn't have the time to come in for exam due to work but i did nonetheless because i really needed new contacts only to find out that my prescription was not going to expire for another 2 months. that's very manipulative so they can bill my insurance. i had an issue also with my last exam where the over billed me & gave me some lame excuse blaming me

I was a very long time patient of Dr. Vidal's, over 25 years.
Today I had my first appointment with Dr. Yeghiazarian (goes by Dr. Y) now that Dr. Vidal has retired from the practice. It was a real pleasure meeting Dr. Y and I look forward to many more years of working with him.
I've always found all the staff friendly, efficient, and willing to answer all my questions and concerns. I particularly appreciated Dr. Y taking the time during my exam to review my previous and latest retinal scans with me on the computer, that was really interesting and enlightening.

I had another wonderful visit with the doctor and staff at 20/20 Vision Center. From Covid preparedness, to front office, back office personnel, to Dr. Yeghiazarian, everything was easy and wonderful! They are incredibly kind, polite, personable, extremely knowledgeable with insurance concerns, and keep a very sanitized/clean office! Easy and smooth, and I get an updated pair of lenses as well. Over charge, front desk gossiping and judging
Been going there for years just for the convenience while I live two blocks away, I had deal with the front desk gossiping and stupidity since I only had to see them once a year I was like,.. I know who I'm don't need to prove some bitter old woman who I'm, all I waned was my glasses and move on, now I live in the Poway area and been going to a different eye doctor, it's time for me to put out there a review this place sucks over price and customer service sucks I already move on and gave them years of chances If anyone reads this

What an outstanding customer experience I had here! It's been a hot minute since I had an eye exam. The ladies here were wonderful and warm. I loved the eye doctor too, even if he was a niners fan *wink wink*. I had honest feedback from a really stylish and gorgeous young lady on which frames to pick. It was a lot of fun. One of my friends recommended this place to me and I'm really happy I decided to make an appointment! I had such a great experience here today! I haven't been to an eye doctor in a long while and I was sort of nervous, but everyone was so awesome and kind. Dr. Y was fantastic and super knowledgeable. I have been going here for the past 3 years and I have been happy with the service. I have a little trouble with getting an exact prescription but they work with me until it's perfect. My husband even mentioned the doctor had good breath, which was super helpful since he was up close LOL I am happy with their customer service and friendliness and highly recommend them.

This is probably the worst eye place in the world. Not only do they overcharge for all their services you have to wait a long time before anyone replies. During my eye exam Dr. Peterson disappeared with his secretary for 30 minutes while I was stuck waiting in the exam room. Also the entire staff decides to take a 1hr lunch break but they don't tell you that during that time they are closed. This is the last time I will ever step foot here. Do yourself a favor and don't even make an appointment here. Save your time, save your money and go someplace else!

Very disappointed and will not be returning here again. They completely tried to take advantage of my daughter when she went to her appointment on her own. They didn’t tell her up front that she wasn’t due for a yearly check up, and didn’t tell her they were going to charge her a $65 co pay because of it until after her check up. Very dishonest, all 4 of my family members were going to this office as well as my extended family and they just lost ALL of our business! I went here for an eye exam 1.5 years ago, and I'm still wearing my glasses with the wrong prescription in them because I haven't been able to afford new glasses. A new eye doctor confirmed they were the wrong prescription. I'm sad I wasted all of this money after my appointment and haven't been able to see correctly since.

My husband got his glasses at 20-20 Vision Center about five years ago. They are progressive lenses and were pretty expensive. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, but this year when it was time for new glasses, we went to 20-20 to get pricing. Dr. Peterson is a true professional and I will be back each year. He helped guide me through the eyeglass and sunglass options to ensure they fit well and are in line with my prescription.
