My wife and I went in for basic eye exams before we leave for Europe. She just needs glasses for driving at night. Initially, my wife's appointment went fine. She told me the following however: "During the exam, the technician told me, "We just put a clean probe on this (laser looking instrument). You will only feel a tickle." I asked what the exam was for and whether something was going to actually touch my eyeball. He said it *would* touch my eyeball and that it was to test for glaucoma. For starters, great safe Covid protocols! Good job. This year I'm going out of my way to support fellow small business owners, so I was really happy to find a family neighborhood optometry place. The check up with the doctor was smooth and easy and picking and sizing my glasses with the friendly and experienced tech went really easily too, "baby bifocals" are what I'm told I'm needing. That made me laugh. The doctor was very personable and knowledgeable. I'm very impressed with the whole team and will definitely be recommending this office to my friends and family

I took my son here for his first optometrist visit. I thought the staff was friendly initially. However the doctor was impatient with my 5 year old son, and had a very rude attitude. She had to use some drops on his eyes so they would get dilated and check for any possible issues with his eyes. My son's pupils were dilated for well over 24 hours. I called the office the very next day before the weekend, and they told me they'd call me back that same day with feedback since they were really busy. I waited until around 4:00PM, and called back since I hadn't received a response, but

I had a wonderful experience here. I was accidentally 15 minutes late for my appointment and they still took me in. The staff and Dr. were super friendly and professional. I received a new prescription which is on point and can see so clearly now. Due to a thorough consultation with the doctor I was prescribed a new type of contact lens and I couldn’t be happier. I have been wearing contacts for over a decade and have never been able to see at night, but with my new lenses I can! I highly recommend Allied Gardens optometry!!!!

I had an exam appointment yesterday with Dr Huynh. The last time I had one was 3 years ago. Everyone practiced good health and hygiene in sanitizing hands and tools. Also limiting patients allowed into the office at a time due to COVID-19 regulations. The whole process was very quick and easy. I was in and out in about 25 minutes. The doctor was very knowledgeable and provided her professional opinion based on my test results vs my current prescription. She was very helpful and really helped me decide what was best for me. I recently was looking for a new Optometry and stumbled across this one! I am so glad I did!! The interior is very clean and the staff is wonderful! They make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Plus they really care about their customers. My dog happened to eat my eye glass case, and when I called them to ask to buy a new one, they instead gifted it to me when I got there. I would highly recommend this optometry. Plus they have the cutest frames!!!

A very poorly run establishment. I needed an emergency refill several months ago as I was leaving town and didn't have enough contacts to make it. They told me I was overdue for an appointment, wouldn't refill it without one, and that they didn't have any available appointments before I left- but that there was a possibility they might have a cancellation the following day so that I should wait for the call so I could run over. Stay away from this place during lunch!! One of the receptionist was having lunch in the front and the smell of the food literally almost made me throw up! Imagine fish cooked in the microwave with mayonnaise. (I'm an ICU nurse so have smelled some bad stuff!) I asked off work for this appointment and literately had to leave because it smelled so bad. I asked if they had anything they could spray to help with the smell and both ladies were rude and said no.
I like the doctor, but you have to work with the rude and unfriendly staff!

So last week I came in as a new client, paid a boatload of cash for exam, contacts fitting, new contacts, new glasses. Get home and the new contacts start falling out of my eyes. Go back Monday to pick up my new glasses and complain about the contacts, but of course the Dr. isn't in and the girl at the desk cannot help me. So I go home and try on the new glasses because at least that's something right? Well, turns out the Rx is bad, or the lenses aren't in correctly, and they're actually blurrier than my 5 year old glasses that I also can't really see out of anymore. I

We had an appointment (for contacts and glasses) for the first time here and it was an overall great experience. Aimee was friendly, professional, and patient from the start when I initially called the office to find out about insurance coverage, cost, etc.
We ran late for our appointments and the team did its best to accommodate us. There was no wait time to start the appointment, and it did not take much time to fill out the new patient paperwork (two pages).

I have visited several optometrists through the years, but this office is by far my favorite!! Many other eye doctors and optometry offices make you feel like a number, but this office makes you feel like family. I've visited several times over the past few months for an eye exam, check-up appointments for an eye issue, and to pick up contacts I've ordered. Each visit I have been treated with so much consideration - even when they are super busy!

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! They are beyond accommodating and invest the time in finding you the best pair of glasses! On my most recent visit I had the pleasure of working with Hannia. She was knowledgable, friendly and SUPER patient! I was there for what for seemed like forever trying on glasses and narrowing down my selection. Hannia not only stayed with me and gave me her opinion on the different frames, she also found a wide variety of styles for me to try on that fit what I told her I was looking for.
