The Basil Leaf Cafe Ristorante, owned by Vito Patronelli, is unlike any fine Italian eatery on Long Island. Nestled in a quaint shopping center between two buildings, our ristorante boasts two separate and equally unique dining rooms. If you are in the mood for a romantic evening with a loved one, cascading floral drapes and soothing green tones would suit your dining experience perfectly.
If you are in the mood for a fun night out with family and friends, order a delicious meal in our other dining room. There, you will find a fantastic all brick bar, wood burning stove and vintage photographs adorning the walls. If you find yourself dining at our ristorante in the summer, you can also dine in the beautiful common patio separating the two dining rooms.

The entire staff seemed to be new. Spilling drinks, bringing entrees out 5 minutes apart from each other, not knowing if there's dairy in certain dishes, ignoring the females at the table etc. The pesto pizza doesn't really taste like much. The seafood pasta had some chewy calamari. But the special chicken was great. A lot of money for what it is. But you are paying for the outdoor ambiance, which is really lovely.
