We have extremely limited outdoor seating at our Hollywood Hill Tasting Room in Woodinville (by the roundabout), but are available for curbside pickup and walkup orders. This weekend at our winery location in Maltby: We are filling fermenters with food donations for the Maltby food bank. What: Bring 20 cans and receive a complimentary tasting, plus 20% off any purchase, 25% off 12 or more bottles.
All purchases will be entered into a drawing for a free Gorman Army wine club allocation ($240 value). All varietal and aged in 100% new French oak, the aromas offer notes of ripe black cherry, incense and char. Rich, intense fruit flavors follow. It's a big hammer of a wine, bringing power like only this producer can bring it.

Services
Chris Gorman descended into the wine business after graduating from university in 1991. Apparently too affected to climb out, he made the best of it. Cutting his teeth on world class Barolo and Barbaresco, he spent 3 years working for a small Italian importer and never looked back. For the next decade, as a main stay in the Seattle wine trade, Chris was lucky to represent some of the finest wines in the world.
A departure from traditional Washington Chardonnay, known for its viscosity and plush mouthfeel. An accumulation of all our vineyards, Zachary's Ladder is the perfect introductory Gorman wine. A cab blend with this much power can only be achieved in WA state with Red Mountain fruit. A unique batch of Klipsun syrah, kept separate during blending due to its extraordinary personality.

An 80-20 blend, the aromas provide appeal, with notes of iron and other minerals along with plum and dark fruit.

Where else can you play pinball and taste some WA wine?! In an industry that can get buried deep in pretentiousness, Gorman has a lighthearted spirit complete with autographed guitars, rock magazines, and free pinball to complement a solid lineup of WA whites and reds that were made for a rockstar! What are you waiting for?

This place was a pleasant surprise! Novelty Hill suggested them and so glad they did! After the tasting, of which all were delicious , we decided on a glass each. I enjoyed Devil you Know and Pixie while my friend like Evil Twin. We were able to enjoy our glasses on the patio and order from the Italian eatery. We tried the truffle fries...I've never had good fries until this day! Hope you take the time and enjoy!

Came in with the Woodinville Wine Passport. Place is run with rock n roll theme to the point of blaring loud rock music, mostly grunge and late 80s hair rock. Not appetizing for wine. Some of the wines are OK but the prices aren't just high they're outrageous. Think $40-65. Wound up not buying anything. Final insult was walking around at QFC grocery store that night we found one of these wines there for $13. What a rip off at the tasting room.

This winery taught me that i just dont appreciate expensive wine! Bottles were more expensive than other places weve tried. The flavors were fine but nothing amazing. Pin ball machines in the tasting room. Dog friendly if thats your thing (it doesn't really work for me.) no descriptions of the product on the menu. The barista was knowledgeable and happy to share descriptions but sometimes its nice to get to know a wine quietly with a glass and a written description

Another rainy Seattle Sunday, so what to do? Taste the grape, of course, so no sooner than we had the idea (and braved the traffic on 405) we were standing at the bar at Gorman and sipping away. It was a formidable tasting of 7 wines, but worth every drop we knocked back.
Our host started us off with a horizontal tasting of three Chardonnays (2013) under their second label, Ashan. Fun fact: Ashan is the Hebrew word for "smoke" (say it "ah-SHAN" if you wanna sound like a sabra), but if you're worried about that particular note overpowering your Chard, you shouldn&apos

My native Seattle friend and I went to a Friday night taisting and we had a great time. The wines were excellent, deep, intense and smooth. Their Shiraz are highly rated by the both the WS and the WE. The service is on par with their wines, they welcome dogs and have live music on Friday night. A great alternative to the big well known names in town!
