Services
The number one focus of our dental practice is to help our patients maintain their teeth for a lifetime. This requires the individualized relationship based approach to care. All new patients receive a comprehensive exam and personalized evaluation of their dental needs. Upon reviewing the obtained information, the patient and dentist consult about where the patient has been, is presently and what the probable future holds for them dentally.
Through a comprehensive exam and supplemental records (such as radiographs, photographs, and study models), a complete evaluation of the patients dental needs to maintain a healthy mouth for a lifetime is performed. This diagnostic approach is also used to evaluate all functional and esthetic concerns a patient may have.
Our goal is to offer you quality dentistry, which will allow you to function at optimal dental health through your lifetime. Your initial visit will be comprised of many different aspects. Before I begin my oral evaluation, I will sit down with you and discuss your dental history, your chief dental complaints, and your expectations of me as your dentist.
Every treatment plan is individual-based. Some of the factors that influence the cost are: the number of dental implants needed, bone graft procedures (if necessary), and the materials used. It is important to consider long-term versus short-term treatment options for tooth replacement. The long-term studies have confirmed a success rate of over 95% after 10 years.
We are excited to introduce you to "putty-less" impressions in our office. We now use Intra-oral Scanning for our restorative and orthodontic needs. The iTero Scanner captures thousands of images of your teeth. This image is then electronically delivered to the lab and from either software or printed models, the restorations are fabricated.

I must say the staff were great and Dr Myers seemingly charming but the quality of work was shockingly terrible. I can't even find words for the traumatic lack of care. I was promised two dentures, one for back up but only given one. He argued and sweet talked his influence onto me that he never said I would have two. While only one month into the denture a tooth fell out. He said don't worry, just come in and we'll fix it....then charged. This went on for approximately seven months as the denture literally fell apart, lost more teeth, cracked. With no back up denture I had to go to work toothless

After many years of dental office visits here in Maine, I needed to find a new dentist. My wife recommended Dr. Myers, as did my sister-in-law and niece, who have all been under his care for years. Their endorsement met my personal experience. As his patient, I feel absolutely confident in his skilled, professional hands. He explains procedures and makes sure of my comfort, and always makes follow-up calls to see how I'm doing. The medical assistants and office staff are very supportive, and overall I feel I'm treated like royalty!

I retired to Maine 15 years ago. My adult life had been shared between practicing dentistry and teaching restorative dentistry as a faculty member of Columbia University, School of Dental Medicine. Finding a competent, ethical dentist for me and my family was a challenge and, for a few years, I would travel back to Columbia colleagues for my dentistry.
One of my sons had been neglectful and required much restorative work. I discussed the situation with Dr. Myers; he had the same methodical, conservative approach as I. After the first restorative visit Dr. Myers allowed me to examine his work.

Dr. Myers is an absolute leader in providing quality Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Myers is efficient and compassionate. My dental experience as a child is nothing short of traumatic. To find such an amazing, kind, and gentle dentist
is a gift. I took my seventeen year old son to Dr. Myers and my son said " I actually now look forward to going to the dentist". The front desk staff welcomes us like family and is so helpful with any request.

I have been a patient of Dr. Myers for close to two decades and could not be happier with the care, precision, and professionalism that I have experienced from each and every member of the staff. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone in the Greater Portland Area looking for superb dental care.

The office staff is so respectful and pleasent to every patient. The office is nice and feels calming. I did have a misunderstanding, and he sent me a letter reguarding costs. We spoke on the phone (Dr. Myers called me). And we solved my misunderstanding. Do I recommend him? Absolutey! Another point...his scheduling is nice because his timing between patients. You don't get stuck waiting around. Make your appointment!

I went here for the "Dentists Who Care for ME" free treatment day and I've never had a better dentist experience! They did a great job despite not even making a profit and all the staff I interacted with were just so welcoming and caring from the receptionist to Dr. Myers himself. I had a great experience at the dentist and that's saying a lot! These people are truly wonderful. If they treat strangers they're helping voluntarily this well, I can only imagine what it's like to be a real patient here!
