Dr. Snyder is a native of Thousand Oaks. He received his bachelor of science at Brigham Young University in biology, with a minor in music and graduated from UC Berkeley School of Optometry with his Optometric Doctorate. Dr. Snyder is trained in all aspects of eyecare and specializes in pediatrics, corneal refractive therapy (CRT), ocular disease including glaucoma, and contact lens fittings.

Will be seeing Dr. Marty Schneider of Camarillo Vision instead albeit it's more of an inconvenience for me... thought it was funny that I'd be seeing Dr. Snyder at oakbrook since I used to see Dr. Schneider of Camarillo Vision. Wish oakbrook had the professionalism and understanding as other places. Very disappointed

Dr Snyder is very thorough, went over the exam results with me and took time to answer my questions. All the staff is very friendly and efficient. I was wearing my last pair of contacts that should have been disposed a long time ago. Dr Snyder gave me a new pair of contacts and some daily contacts to try out so I have some new contacts to go home with. I’m definitely coming back again next year for my annual exam.

Had my first annual eye exam since my last optometrist passed away last October. All in the office are friendly, courteous, and attentive. Dr. Barker and the tech, Vicki, did an excellent job administering the eye health and eye chart chart tests. The office was able to transfer all my previous optometrist’s eye exam information to their system so I could avoid writing up all the normal new patients info. Thanks to all the staff and I highly recommend Oakbrook Optometry for your optometric needs.

Excellent service & very friendly. I highly recommend this Dr’s office. They are extremely good about cleanliness & observing Covid protocol. Wonderful frame selection with great office staff. Stephanie was wonderful & very patient with me to assist with the right frames & getting my measurements for new eye glasses 🤓 Looking forward to receiving new glasses.
