Services
Our office is on West Hillcrest Drive between McCloud Ave and Marin St. across from MOVICO Movie Theater in the Oaks Mall and right next to the Firestation. The large white office building is called the Briarwood building and it is adjacent to the smaller white Dermatology building which is right on the corner of West Hillcrest and Marin.
The doctors and staff will do everything possible to make your visit comfortable and timely. To assist in this process we ask for you help, please bring the following items with you for your appointment. 1 - Your most recent prescription glasses and/or written prescription. 2 - Your vision insurance card (if available) and medical insurance card, SS# and ID.

My visit yesterday lasted less than a minute. I showed up for my appointment and four staff members, including the optician, we're all at the front desk and no one was wearing a mask.
I said, " You're not wearing masks?"
The doctor replied, " Oh, we're all vaccinated and we're around each other all the time anyway, but if you'd like us to put on masks for you, we'd be happy to do so."

Most bizarre experience of seeing an optometrist in my over 20 years of wearing glasses! Saw Dr Hamlet for my annual optometry check up. Subsequently went and had her prescription filled with my usual optical store I frequent and upon receiving my glasses noticed everything was extremely blurry... hmm odd... but waited a couple of days for my eyes to adjust to the new script etc etc. Finally after a week I decided to call the office and explain that was something was majorly off. A day later I get a call back notifying me that Dr. Hamlet wrote down the WRONG PRESCRIPTION. No apology. No remorse

Doctor Hamlet and her team were amazing. They answered all my questions and explained all of the procedures. The facility is super clean and modern and very easy parking. Working as a fire fighter I needed specialty eyewear. I was able to get the exact lens and coatings required in a frame that was durable and fun to wear. They are a Wiley X authorized vendor and had all three frames on hand. That was a huge help since the manufacturer will not send samples during the Covid-19 event. Thank you again doctor Hamlet and the crew.

Dr. Hamlet is an amazing and exceptional optometrist! She has been helping me and my children for many years. Dr Hamlet offers comprehensive vision examinations; she is very thorough and knowledgeable. She delivers high-quality eye-care while diagnose eye diseases, conditions and problems. The receptionists and all staff are all wonderful, and the office itself is very neat and classy. My routine visits are all swift, and enjoyable. This is a great place!

I had some metal fragments fly into my eye. No health insurance. Dr. Hamlet got them out for me quickly and charged the mininum visit fee (way less than i was expecting to pay). Then she found the cheapest perscription that would work and even printed a coupon for me! Amazing! Big thank you to Dr. Hamlet and the ladies at the front desk.

I have never received such great customer service! Conejo Family Eyecare is the place to go for any of your vision needs. The office is clean and every single person I've made contact with, genuinely cared about my concerns and well being. I'm so impressed with the service here, I won't go anywhere else! I scheduled my appointment, I was in and out in a fair amount of time. Dr Hamlet has a way of making her clients feel comfortable. This office is amazing! I've been seeing Dr Hamlet for several years now. I've also been treated by her husband too. He was very good also. I really can't praise them enough. I've never felt rushed in an appointment & she always makes herself available to you. The staff is great too. They're always extremely helpful & courteous. My wife first went to Dr. Griffith years ago, she was always happy with his service. We moved away from CA in 2010. Fast-forward to 2017 and we moved back for career and family.
Now with a little boy, all three of us have been in and checked by Dr. Hamlet. She is so sweet and sincere, you can tell she loves what she does. It's also nice to visit a doctor that invests and utilizes the latest technology in optical care. This is the kind of doctor I trust, and would recommend to family, friends and strangers!

Had a wonderful experience at Conejo Family Eyecare. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Hamlet was a delight as she is super friendly and caring. She took her time explaining the exam's results and answering my questions.

We have been patients for years and the whole family has been so taken care of by their family.
I recently had my kitten scratch my eyeball on a Saturday and I was able to speak to Dr. Hamlet who quickly accessed my issue and prescribed a drop that took care of the problem overnight! She checked in on Sunday and was just so comforting.
I like their choice of fashion glasses as well!

I've worn hard contacts for 25 years (given a rare corneal issue) & have been to not a few eye doctors. NONE could match the precision of Dr. Hamlet's diagnosis & measurement of the lens needed. NONE ever offered a 2nd try at lens fitting. In this case, the 2nd fitting made the difference, correcting my vision to near 20/20. Also, the staff is very competent, pleasant & clearly proud of working in a first class clinic.

I can't say enough about how great the doctors are at this office! I've been seeing Dr. Hamlet for over 15 years. My husband sees her husband, Dr. Griffith. Recently, my son burned his eye, and Dr. Hamlet was beyond wonderful! She opened the office for us at 9 o'clock at night, called in a prescription before our pharmacy closed, and kept me from panicking. She takes her job seriously, but has a warm demeanor and sense of humor. My husband is picky about his glasses, and his contacts are difficult to fit, but he hasn't complained once, since I got him to switch to this office. Their staff is friendly

I give this office a thumbs down.They do not follow their own policy on frame replacement during the two year warranty they promote on their site. Frames selection and quality of the frames are poor. I take very good care of my frames. My frames, as well as, my daughter's frames broke within a 4 week period. Had a lot of hasseles getting them replaced. Left this office and found an honest optomitrist with better quality ane fair priced frames. My suggestion DON'T go to Dr.S. Hamelet there are better office choices out there. Good luck!

Wonderful office. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and Dr. Hamlet is one of the best eye doctors that I've been to. She never shames me for the lack of care I put into wearing contacts, though she should! Scheduling has been easy and quick.
The girl who helped me pick out glasses was extremely helpful (Barbara, I believe her name is) and found a pair within my coverage range, that I actually liked.

I took my 3 year old in to see Dr. Hamlet as she has been complaining of eye pain.
Dr. Hamlet was wonderful and my daughter loved her.
She really took the time to listen to our concerns and made what could of been a scary process lots of fun.
I would definitely refer my friends and family to Conejo Family Eyecare.
