Studio B Dance
At Studio B Dance we strive to achieve excellence with each student that enters our studio by providing exceptional training for our students of all levels. Studio B is very passionate about supporting our community. We regularly perform at charity events and festivals. Each year we choose a charity to support.

Teaching our children the importance of paying it forward. This year we have selected the Commission on Missing and Exploited Children (COMEC). Studio B was founded in 1939 under the direction of Ms. Debra's Aunt B. From there, the studio expanded throughout the Bradshaw family to Connecticut, North Carolina, and New Jersey, where Debra's mother owned her own studio for over 50 years!

Our daughter has grown up at Studio B and spent countless hours there with Debra Powell and the AWESOME instructors. At the age of 13, she is in her 10th year of dance and there is no where else she would rather spend her afternoons than in that studio. Deb and the staff have always done more than just choreograph and teach technique. They love your children. They genuinely care for your children. They guide and instruct them with lessons that stick with your children even when they walk off that dance floor.
I will always be grateful for this place, the friendships we have made and everyone there

We love Studio B and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! My girls are 7 & 8. One does ballet and tap and the other does hip-hop. They both have great instructors and enjoy going every week!

Debra and her entire staff are warm and welcoming. They genuinely care about the kids not only as dancers but also as people. The dance instruction and opportunities are second to none. My daughter thoroughly enjoys being part of the Studio B family!

My daughter has danced at Studio B for the last 6 years, and I have seen her confidence grow. The staff loves the dancers for who they are as individuals. It is a great place to learn and grow. My daughter wants every day to be a Studio B day.

Both of my girls, ages 3 & 4, love taking ballet and tap here. It is a fun atmosphere and the teachers really try to make it fun for the kids. They also have a princess dance camp that was in the summer and my 4 year old loved it!

My daughter took dance and tumbling here for five years before we moved out of the area. She enjoyed the experience very much.

Studio B is Fantastic! My daughter danced here as a teenager and loved it. Now more than ten years later my 4 year old granddaughter has begun ballet and tap lessons at Studio B. Debra (owner and former professional dancer) Joanne and the teachers are very sweet while they work hard. Students who study here enjoy themselves as evidenced by the positive atmosphere.
Bonus: El Porton is 30 yards away, so we have great place to go for the hour.

I wish I could give three and a half stars! Studio B is home to numerous dance classes from ages 3 to adult. Each spring, students work together and put on a big recital, for which parents have to stand in line to buy tickets. Costumes, production, the whole shebang.

Rehearsals are daily the week prior to the program. Every other week of the school year, students attend a weekly class. The little ones take in the downstairs classrooms, accessed either through a back door (which they don't want anyone using when weather is cold, because it puts a chill on the downstairs studios), or through

About 10 years ago I was teaching here for the summer and it was a great experience. The owner was real nice and decent and the kids were amazing with loads of talent and luckily I brought my Los Angeles swagger to Memphis to put them on the right track to dance. At the time Justin Timberlake's little brother Jonathan was one of my students as well and I remember he took to dance really well. I taught 3 to 4 classes a day from 8 years old to the teenagers and a mommy class on Fridays. Those were the good ole days in Memphis, but if you're ever in Germantown and you have the need to
