Blue Suede Ballroom Dance Studio is open for private, group lessons and Zoom online lessons. Want to dance, but not sure how to get started? The Introductory Special is a good way to test drive all our dance services and see what fits for you. You ( or you and your partner) will get introduced to 2-4 the most popular social dances that we teach, including Swing, Waltz, Salsa, Tango, Rumba, Foxtrot, and Cha Cha.

Do I need a partner? Absolutely not. For your private lessons, your instructor serves as your dance partner. In group classes, you dance with other students in the class, and rotate partners constantly. If you have a partner, it's a wonderful way for you to share something together, and to practice together when you're not at the studio.

My husband & I had lessons with @Andriy Velychko and really enjoyed them. We needed to brush up on some dances we learned years ago & Andriy was able to get us back in the groove. Great instruction & perfect social distancing practices. If you are interested in learning to dance, this is a great studio to learn.

The staff there love dancing and want to share that love with you. I have been dancing with and learning from Andriy for many years, which has really added to my quality of life. He’s a great dancer and teacher, and he cares about his students.

The talented instructors are extremely patient and encouraging.
They have been very accommodating during the pandemic by offering the option of online group and private lessons for those who prefer that choice.

Blue Suede Ballroom = Dance, Dance, Dance. This place is the place to be for all things D-a-n-c-e... we were graciously invited and signed up for the exclusive Official Yelp Event. The space is open and long enough to hold several couples. Displaying their moves. One wall is bistro seating and the other wall it was all mirrors. The instructors were very informative and detailed on how to show you step by step the moves that need to be performed to do the dance. We were shown ballroom dance and salsa. We love this place! We have been going to salsa clubs for the last 15 years together and after only 5 private lessons here we are having more fun and dancing better than ever before! Can’t tell you how much fun we had at Rumba room after learning more complex steps. They make each lesson so fun yet push us to dance better and teach us more complicated steps. The lessons here are some of our best date nights because we end up having so much fun and laughing so much together!

Blue Suede Ballroom Dance Studio is the BEST! I have been taking private dance lessons for the past few months with my husband. It has been a BLAST! The teachers are super enthusiastic and really made us feel comfortable and excited right from our first dance lesson. You can tell they really love what they do, and it reflects in the entire studio. The environment is fun and really nice!

I took lessons at Blue Suede Ballroom for five years, and I can recommend the studio without reservation. The instructors are very knowledgeable, so they can cater to any skill level. If you're just starting out the beginner classes are easy to follow, relaxed, and very fun; they'll get you up to speed in no time. If you are more advanced, you will benefit from the more technique-oriented advanced classes or private lessons. In particular, the owner, Andriy, is a tremendously skilled dancer who'll improve even open level dancers' skills. In addition the studio will often bring in world class instructors

About a year and a half ago, my husband and I decided to take up ballroom dancing for fun and exercise. We visited a couple of studios in the area and, liking Blue Suede the best, we began going to lessons and dance parties there weekly. At first we were rank beginners and felt clumsy and self-conscious, but the teachers and students welcomed and encouraged us! Now when we go to dance parties, we always know some steps for the ballroom dances and enjoy flying around the room in social dance or working out a routine to demo at an studio showcase.
