A wonderful week! Our daughter's wedding! Lovely venue and home. Incredible amenities. We had a small formal wedding on the beach, a semi-formal cocktails hour, a casual dinner and then a pool party. Best wedding ever- so far! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us for this special occasion.
We had a very nice time in Corolla at Spare Time! The yard was so nice and the pool was great! The house was clean and very accommodating to a large group. They had bikes and beach chairs available for us to use which was also nice. The kitchen had everything in it for us to use, we cooked several meals at the house so that was helpful.

The South Nags Head cottage we rented for our 2021 family Christmas celebration was lovely, very comfortable and accommodating for our family. Resort Realty was terrific in helping me identify a house that exactly suit our needs - pet friendly, good for someone with mobility concerns, available for a partial week rental, easy walk to the water. I was very grateful for that kind help, given the overwhelming selection of cottages here on the Outer Banks. The rental and documentation processes were easy to follow, the policies fair and easy to understand. The condition of the cottage and grounds was

We are very happy with the service we received from Resort Realty. As soon as I spent 1 hour in Whalebone Pierview condo, I knew I wanted to rent it in the spring. My computer was at home, so I called Resort Realty and they helped me with my reservation. We have been coming to the Outer Banks for many years and have used many rental companies with no complaints. However with the extra special care I received from Resort Realty, we are going to stick with them. By the way, I am a Senior Citizen which may explain the extra care needed!

Our family has stayed her twice now. The location is great. Well equipped home. Lovely pool. Unfortunately, our family is outgrowing this place so I don't know if we will be back, but the home is perfect for a small family group. The AC works well. The beach was not packed. Great location near the typical things we do: lighthouses, Jockey's Ridge, restaurants, aquarium, etc. Thank you for this lovely home!

We stayed in Resort Realty home “Breakaway”. At first we noticed that one of the DVD players did not work. The service tech came out and put a cord on it but said we needed a remote to work it and he would either bring a remote or another DVD. Never saw him . Then we discovered the dryer did not work. When we called we were told they would get someone right away. 36 hours later no one showed. When I called, I was told that the sent it to an outside vendor. ( on a holiday week, no one is coming.) I said I needed a dryer. Their response is they have a lot of houses rented out and have been answering

BEWARE FUTURE RENTERS! We stayed at Seascape (2869) “managed” through Resort Realty last week. Never again will I use this company. I arrived at this 8,000$ a week rental and hauled all my groceries up to the third floor “fully equipped kitchen” and found a dorm refrigerator sitting on the kitchen counter of this 20 person rental. The battered looking full sized refrigerator sitting next to it had been obviously out of service for some time based upon the mold growing inside. A call to the rental agency confirmed this and after 5 more calls and 24 hour delay we were told by a very rude

We were very disappointed in our recent stay at a home by Resort Realty. Overall, the house was not taken care and is a poor reflection on the rental company due to its condition. The pictures and description of the home were not indicated of the real experience. While they did send a cleaner out again the first night, a follow-uplist of concerns were shared via email with no further action despite a reply that “it was being forwarded to maintenance and house keeping”.
The house was in need of a major cleaning. The exterior of the house doesn’t appear to have been power washed in years.

We rented a house through resort realty for our 2 families and we have 2 one year olds and a 3 year old with us. Checked in to the house and there were cobwebs all through the ceilings filled with bugs, torn up carpet in the living room with exposed tack strips that I stepped on and a broken piece of glass that had been a covering for the coffee table that was leaning against the wall. We contacted resort realty about the issues by email and phone and got an email response that “it had been reported to maintenance” and we’ve heard from no one the rest of the week. This was our first time

Captain’s Choice - 5195. We have stayed at numerous OBX rentals over the years and this was by far the worst. The house layout, location and fact that it had a pool was great. The house is so outdated and the pots/pans were all scratched up and hard use for cooking. The edges of all carpets had hair and dust, there was dust on surfaces, the refrigerators were filthy, needed new filters, and had broken drawers. The toilet seats were broken in two bathrooms and the toilet paper holders were missing or broken in numerous baths. Trash cans had filth in the bottoms or were missing in several bathrooms

Where do I begin. This will be the first and last time we'll use Resort Realty to rent a house in the Outer Banks. We've rented from many companies in the Outer Banks, and Resort Realty is not good. The funny thing is they don't share negative reviews of anything. They send you an email for feedback, and say we reserve the right to not publish certain information. Why do you think they only have positive reviews on their website? Resort Realty is unethical with their houses. We rented 1758 - Chesapeake Colony Escape for a week, and it was so dirty & downright disgusting. The

Second year in our house in Duck. Last year was great, this year not so much. WiFi never worked. They kept saying we were on the priority list... it's Thursday. Still haven't dealt with it. House is dirty. No TP, no dish soap. And just no communication. Maybe they're short-staffed. Then say so, offer a minor discount, and keep your return customers happy. We won't be back.

Wow, I am surprised by all the negative reviews. We had an absolutely fabulous experience with Resort Realty. We've been vacationing on the Outer Banks for more than two decades; we have rented from probably all of the vacation rental companies and have stayed in a wide variety of houses. This was our first time renting from Resort Realty, and it won't be our last. The house was the best we've ever stayed in--a fabulous oceanfront property with spectacular views from every level. The house was well-equipped, well-maintained, and clean. In particular, the kitchen was amazingly well

We recently had our vacation in Salvo, staying at Tranquil Breeze. We have been renting in OBX for 10 years now.
Resort Realty failed to inform us that the owner of the house we stayed in would be monitoring our every move. Some of the information that would have been useful before we spent $12,000 on our vacation:
-Cannot have a door open more than 90 seconds before the AC shuts off. This was told to us in a check-in email.
-Owner will text anytime a door is left open.
-Cannot ever open windows or we will be charged a fee.
-The temperature of the house is solely controlled by the owner.

We have stayed at Diamond Shoals for some 25 years. Even before our first Grand daughter was born. My late wife and I decided that if we were going to the beach then it should be beach frontage.
JuJu's place is a 1st floor unit which we wanted when the Grand Kids were small so they wouldn't accidently topple off one of the upper floors. I believe we have stayed in al least four different units over the years for various reasons, I.E. units being sold etc. JuJu's Place is the best! I always make the reservations for the next year before we come.

This home provided our family with our most memorable vacation ever! Of course, the fact that we celebrated a 50th Wedding Anniversary while there certainly helped. It has an amazing location and the house itself was a "resort". We enjoyed EVERY aspect of the home, from its expansive decks, lovely pool and cabana, comfortable and class furnishings, and extensive amenities. The movie room and game room added to our enjoyment and allowed our group of 15 to NEVER feel cramped. Having multiple refrigerators and dishwashers meant staying in during this quarantine time in America was NOT difficult. We

"Brown Pelican" rental house services through Resort Realty on Virgina Dare Trail, Nags Head, NC
There were no problems with Resort Realty. This review is for the Brown Pelican oceanfront rental. The house is a disaster in a nut shell. During the aftermath of hurricane Ted we were forced to be indoors more than we would have like during a week at the beach, in addition to being in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. This house has 7 bedrooms, the refrigerator is for a family size of maybe 3, at best. There are Palmetto bugs (roaches) the size of a small kitten, everywhere in this

The pictures on the website for Resort Realty show a house (A Memorable Vacation #5824) that is a bit outdated but appears to be clean and safe. What we found when we arrived was a very different situation. The issues with the house range from the annoying; worn and dirty carpets, dirty fan blades and furniture that was falling apart. To the dangerous; missing door locks (on doors that led to the hot tub and pool area with children in the house), moldy vents and disabled smoke detectors with exposed wires. The floors are so old and dirty that you wouldn't want to walk on them without your

If I could leave zero stars, I would. We stayed in Castle Bleu - rental #6090
1. The house was sweltering when we arrived. The downstairs air conditioning was not working. Once they finally sent someone to check it, he couldn't fix it and had to call the a/c company. They finally arrived the next day, said it had to be replaced. This was not a new issue. A review left by a previous renter mentioned the air not working. They knew it was a problem. The air conditioning unit was finally replaced on Wednesday. We went half the week with NO AIR in the bedrooms - with 90 degree weather

If you scan through these reviews you will see exactly one response from Resort Realty, and it's a snarky, non-apologetic one at that. Furthermore, that response was in regard to a warning to the property owners for which this company manages the rentals. So there you have it, their bread and butter are the home owners who they collect management fees from, not the customers who actually rent out these atrocious houses. Once they have your money, good luck with what you've purchased from them.
The house we rented was BLEW TOO MUCH #1894, and the temptation to say this house does indeed

Here is what was sent to Resort Realty. Ultimately Resort Realty claims no responsibility for the state of the property you stay at... It is totally up to the homeowner:
Sea Spray 7196 Issues!!!
Family of raccoons living in Hot Tub-(Could hi not use plus created anxiety on a few of our household due to fear especially with our family dog here) Now a trap is set on the deck! Thanks to the Pool Guy Chris for coming out to try and remove the critters on Memorial Day. We tipped him for his time and effort. He removed over 2 1/2 large garbage bags of hot tub foam that the raccoons destroyed.
