We have used Kevin for both of our home inspections and we are very pleased with him. He is very thorough and takes time in what he is doing. Kevin was outstanding! He took the time to truly inspect every nook and cranny of our potential new home. He talked to us as he was working so we would understand what he was looking at. He also gave us tips for maintaining the roof, water heater, boiler, etc. He did an excellent job and quickly delivered a thorough, detailed report. He was nice and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Kevin and House Detectives. You won't find a better home inspector; he's tops!

This review is in regards to Katie Hobbins' review from 7 months ago on her property that we hired Kevin to inspect. We hired Kevin to inspect the home in question based on a high recommendation from our real estate agent. There was a lot that we really loved about this house, enough that we ignored a few issues during our first walk-through in hopes of some easy fixes. After the inspection, however, Kevin found these and many more problems that showed how poor of an investment this home would have been. This is the second time I’ve used Kevin. He was prompt in scheduling my inspection. It was a large mixed use property and poor weather. Neither fact deterred him from doing a thorough job. Even though it was the end of the year and around the holidays I still had a 40 page report delivered in less than 36 house. Will use him again!

Kevin is extremely thorough with his inspections. He not only inspected every appliance and room but also showed me how everything worked and took the time to find the outlets that were controlled by switches! He got a report to me the morning after a 3pm inspection the previous day. Would do business again!
