Summit Spine and Therapy offers many chiropractic, soft tissue and muscle therapy, and therapeutic massage services. Our common chiropractic techniques include MPI, Diversified, and Cox Flexion and Distraction. We also treat through other methods such as active myofascial release, active instrument therapy, positional release, and cupping therapy.
Understanding all the facets of care can be difficult. Below is a list of frequently asked questions and commonly heard statements from patients trying to understand their chiropractic and wellness needs. DCs (or Doctors of Chiropractic) take care of patients of all ages with varying health conditions and ailments.
Medicare will only pay for services that they determine to be "medically necessary." If Medicare determines that your treatment was not medically necessary they will deny payment for that service. If Medicare denies any services, your secondary insurance will not pay the expenses. We can only bill a chiropractic adjustment to Medicare and the patient responsibility averages $8/appointment.
Summit Spine and Therapy offers soft tissue and muscle therapy services, including therapeutic massage, which works hand-in-hand with chiropractic services. Active myofascial release: a form of deep tissue manipulation in which specified techniques are used to release soft tissue adhesions while the patient is actively involved with the treatment.

Horrible experience. I had a car accident in 2019. my back got hurt. I came in on 10/26/2021 because I was having bad pain on 10/24/2021 after asking the receptionist over the phone if they are familiar with fmla intermittent leave and if they feel comfortable filling it out the appropriate documents. She told me yes. I proceeded to speak to the physician about it. he told me to bring him the paperwork. I had my wife drop off the paperwork on Thursday 10/28/2021. I saw the doctor again today 11/1/2021. he tells me he has to diagnose me over 6 more visits and then try a treatment then if the treatment

Refused for years to go to a chiropractor because of the stories I’ve been told. I cant speak to everyone else but I can say this place is not like those stories. The dr had simple fixes for my issues and didn’t try to get me to buy anything. After the apt, my back feels better and I’m now equipped with the knowledge to address my issue on my own.

Dr. Dan & Dr. Scott are hands down the best. I’ve been visiting them for a disc herniation and general tightness in my neck and back. This past week I had an extreme flare up from an activity that caused the liquid from my disc to press into my nerves. I had pain shooting down my leg and could barely walk, sit, bend, and even needed assistance dressing myself. Dr. Dan & Dr. Scott got me in to see them almost immediately and within a week I was walking and doing normal tasks. Dr. Scott and his team are excellent. If you’re looking for a place that invests in your body’s long term performance and function, this is the place for you. My wife has seen Dr. Scott for years and I finally jumped on the train today. I was even more pleased than I could be imagined, even after her persistence and rave reviews. 😄 I’ve been to chiropractors who treat symptoms, not look for the source of the problem and set me up for long term success.
