Prior to moving out of state in 2021, we had been taking our two dogs and cat here for several years. We mostly had routine visits until Nov 2020. We initially brought one of our dogs in for what we thought was a parasite, but when the medicine did not clear the issue up, Dr. Nelson referred us to specialists to get additional testing done immediately. Unfortunately the results showed cancer and tumors. She then worked with us to explain the results and corresponding options. While the results were bleak, we chose to pursue one of her options and are happy to report that Gilbert is still with us

I used to love this vet and Dr McMurtrie was wonderful when my dog had cancer but eventually passed away. I started bringing my mom's dog here for that reason. However, 2 years later, the change is astonishing. After a recent visit they left a voicemail that my mom’s dog has a tick-borne infection. I told my mom she needed to call them back so she can ask the vet all the questions she rightfully had but the girl who answer the phone told my mom to "look it up online." I told my mom to insist on talking a vet and she was told "they're too busy to talk to you." I understand vets are busy, but any
