Robert (Bob) Foley began his wine making career in the Napa Valley in 1977, having just graduated from UC Davis with degrees in both Viticulture and Enology. He spent his first year working for Heitz Cellars, followed by 15 years as the founding winemaker for Markham Vineyards. In 1992, Bob began another 15 years as the founding winemaker for Pride Mountain Vineyards.
During this period, he also created the highly acclaimed Switchback Ridge, Hourglass, Paloma, and School House wines. He now focuses mostly on Robert Foley Vineyards wines, but also creates the offerings from Shelter, Padis Vineyards, Engel Family, Herson Family Vineyards, and JennaMarise in the Napa Valley.

Services
Our visitor permit limits us to a maximum of 10 guests per day, so all reservations must be secured with a credit card and made at least 48 hours in advance. Please book early as our times fill quickly and we cannot accept walk-ins. Our calendar shows all available dates through the end of the year.
Thank you so much for your interest in Robert Foley Vineyards. Please email us or call with any questions you have about our wines or winery. There are only two of us in the office and we wear many hats, so if we miss you, please leave a message. We're usually here Monday-Friday between 9am and 4pm.
If you wish to send wine to a state not listed, please call or email the winery as there may be other options available to connect you with our wines. To protect your wine from damage due to heat, cold, or handling, we will only ship if weather allows - we do not ship during extreme weather. Orders may be picked up at the winery by appointment.
