Arietta is our name for wines born of a passion for music. The name Arietta, meaning short aria or art song, expresses our belief that all great wines must sing. Both wine and song should "take flight, " in the course of which the qualities of balance, vibrancy, depth, overtones, and complexity resonate and give us a sense of exaltation.
After the generous and grand 2018 vintage, it was difficult for us to imagine anything better. But the 2019 Napa vintage may be it. We are thrilled to offer you three Hudson Red Wines: Arietta's original wine, the Arietta Red Wine H Block Hudson Vineyards, Arietta Merlot Hudson Vineyards, and Arietta Red Wine Variation One.

Arietta, an ultra-premium Napa winery specializing in limited production Bordeaux-style blends, is owned by wine specialist and auctioneer Fritz Hatton and Caren Frutig Hatton. One of America's most celebrated winemakers, Andy Erickson, crafts the Arietta wines from carefully chosen blocks in the cooler climates of Napa Valley.
The bustling economy has resulted in shipping delays, so we urge you to think ahead if you would like these wines delivered before the holidays. Lists for group or corporate gift giving should be provided at the earliest opportunity. For assistance, please contact us directly at info@ariettawine.com.
Arietta Red Wine H Block Hudson Vineyards is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The Cabernet Franc is solely from the 2.3 acre Hudson Vineyards H Block, a shy-bearing, volcanic, southwest facing slope, which naturally yields just three tons per acre.
The Merlot is grown in the Hudson Vineyards G and I Blocks, which lie immediately below the H Block. Typically, the two varietals are picked simultaneously and co-fermented, assuring a marriage of the varieties. The Cabernet Franc provides the cassis, blueberry, brown sugar character, while the Merlot brings dark chocolate to the aroma and a chewy richness to the finish.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon emerges from one tiny block at Meteor in Coombsville. Inky and vibrant to the core, the 2019 is so impressive. It offers up an enticing melange of dark red fruit, creme de cassis, licorice, leather, scorched earth and savory herbs that convey the pure energy and mineral-infused drive that are the signatures of this great Coombsville site.
The 2019 Merlot Hudson Vineyard is a total bomb. Beautifully ripe and exotic to the core, the 2019 possesses tremendous depth, richness and textural intensity. Inky dark fruit, spice, lavender and chocolate all build as this explosive Merlot shows off its allure. Even with all of its intensity the 2019 retains terrific structure and verve.

We absolutely love Arietta wines and the tasting experience with the owner Fritz was amazing. He hosts small groups tasting at the beautiful Hudson Vineyards property. I got to try their red blend, Quartet, and thought I definitely have to taste all other wines. I wasn't wrong! we loved all the wines and ended up purchasing way too many bottles. Highly recommend if you love Bordeaux varietals. Their white blend was super interesting and fun as well.

The tasting tour at this boutique winery (at Chateau Boswell) was fantastic. I usually only enjoy Cabs but their Merlot was DELICIOUS. My second fav was their white blend "On the White Keys"
It's really obvious how passionate the team is with winemaking and with showing people how the best flavor in their wines are produced.
Although their main sellers are red Bourdeaux blends, the owners personally also enjoy white so they also offer Semillion/S.blanc blends.
Tasting was all really well guided and comprehensive as we were able to taste the younger (?) presses of pure varietals

What a great experience! Our group had a blast at Arietta yesterday for our wine tasting group. They were generous enough to reserve the picnic area shared among the area - with the beautiful weather, the delicious tasting outside, and the beauty of the picnic area, we had a blast.
Jessica, who hosted us, was also spectacular. She educated us on the winery, the wines, the history of Fritz and team, and more. She made the experience top notch for our group, and we had a blast. We also made sure to purchase a lot of the wine!
White on the Keys was my favorite. The "H" mix was also top
