Services
John and I developed our passion for wine over several years. We tasted wines in the Napa Valley long before there were the choices of hotels and restaurants that the Napa Valley offers today. There were also far fewer wineries to visit. Our tasting experiences were often very relaxed with opportunities to speak to knowledgeable staff.
Tom has worked in the meat industry for 34 years, owned and operated two retail video stores for eleven years and was the first to start a baseball card vending machine business. Tom loves to play golf, fish and serve his community. He has been on the City of Napa Planning Commission from 1998 through December of 2016.
We are located on the slopes of Howell Mountain on Deer Park Road 2.3 miles from Silverado Trail, minutes from the beautiful central stretch of the Napa Valley. Who ever said "you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family" did not yet know about becoming a member of the Bremer family.
Four bottles of Bremer Family wine per shipment, three times per year. Average cost per shipment $310.00. Club members may double or triple their membership to receive up to 3 bottles of each wine. Gift memberships for "Adopting a family member" for one or more shipments are also available. Please contact us to we can help you make your arrangements.

Best winery in Napa valley for mature wines. Most tasting wines are 5-6 years old, including one from 2006. Wine prices are very commensurate with quality, our favorite was a wine named after son Austin. Truly a family ran vineyard, property was very pretty with nature all around. And with a tasting cost of only $25/person, definitely worth a visit!

Really really great personable experience. Our host (sweet older man, can't remember his name but he was awesome!) He asked what kind of experience we wanted, informative and educational, or laid back and mostly just drinking and enjoying. We chose educational and boy did we learn alot! Really made our experience much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend if you want an initimate experience like you're hanging in a friend's back yard! Wine was decent as well! Considering this was a random find since we didn't have any reservations, it turned out excellent!

Wine was alright. Couldn't taste much of the notes of flavor described in their tasting menu because of the condescension and arrogance from the host. First, it took an unreasonable amount of time to even get started with the tasting. But only after being dismissed and repeatedly judged for having food on the table. Then, we were lectured for wanting to keep our masks on. Throughout the tasting, the table could not grasp why we couldn't get decent professional service without feeling palpable arrogance in every response from the host. I don't like to make assumptions but if you're a person of color

Quite a unique Napa winery. Experts in gastronomy and horticulture help them to craft many exceptional styles and flavors. This is a family of wine makers that are really investing back into their land. Come for the tasting, and explore their extensive underground barrel rooms and tasting facilities. Truly one of a kind experience.

What a hidden gem we found at Bremer Family Winery. The oak trees and babbling brook are the perfect backdrop for tasting. Their 2014 Chardonnay rivals Rombauer and the 2013 Napa Cabernet and Howell Mountain were all superb. Tom started our tasting and we were lucky enough to meet the winemaker, Bob, who's humble and delicate approach to wine is a breath of fresh air. We ended our time with Austin on a private cave and museum tour. His passion and knowledge of the wine industry of Napa was a special treat. The love and care poured into this winery is apparent at every turn. If you are looking for

We had an awesome experience at Bremer! Mike was one of the best tour guides we've ever had in the Valley. We learned so much about the property. I love a great storyteller and humble person when visiting wineries and that's exactly what we got with Mike and it was awesome. Gorgeous property and amazing wine. Absolutely make time for this one!!

Found this gem of a winery through our hotel in Napa. Needed an appointment, but no problem getting in on a Sunday in the Winter. Wines were top-notch, a bit pricey for my wallet but decided to splurge on the Howell Mountain Merlot ($75) for a special occasion. Tim showed us the range of wines and walked us through the caves and grounds - so cool, tempted to join their wine club as they have monthly get-togethers for members. Just a few miles off of Silverado Trail - check this family winery out!

Went to Bremer Winery today and had the most amazing experience We are mainly red wine people and we were asked twice if we wanted to try the Chardonnay and politely said no then we were asked a third time and accepted the tasting and regretted not tasting the first two times It was by far the best Chardonnay we have tasted in fact all of the wines tasted there were excellent I learned more today about wine than I have ever before The winery is kept up beautifully with small picnic tables across bridges over the creek Also has a history about the winery that goes back to the late 1800s the owners

It's pretty hard to navigate wineries on Yelp. Star ratings tend to cluster, and popularity doesn't seem to correlate particularly strongly with quality. My husband and I found out about Bremer Family Winery the old-fashioned way, through a recommendation from a friend who'd been here and loved it when she was in wine country. It was a short scenic drive away from the main trails, so I doubt it gets many casual visitors. We were able to book a tasting a day in advance (by email), and had our choice of appointment times.

By far the best reds. I usually don't like red wine, but the ones I tried during my tour there were excellent and smooth without the bitterness I usually taste. Bill was absolutely amazing and took the time to answer my newbie questions with patience. He gave us the VIP treatment and we even got to see the cave where the barrels are stored. And , yes, the whites and port were outstanding as well.
